The campus is quite lush green and many things to do in campus.

The campus is lush green but the campus area is quite small.
The campus is quite outside the city so it takes a long time to go anywhere.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was getting this course only at my JEE Mains rank. Faculty's are highly qualified with Masters and PhDs from top universities/Institutes of India/world.The teaching method is a bit outdated but overall it depends on the teacher.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 904000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The Companies visited are Microsoft, Google, Honda. 90% of the students get placed in mechanical branch. Plans after getting the degree are that I want to do a government job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is divided on the basis of annual income of the family. Basically if annual income is more than 5 lacs, then the fee is 9,04,000 for whole course, if between 1-5 lacs, the fee is approx 4,50,000, and if the annual income of the family is below 1 lacs then the fee is 2,25,000 for whole course. Various scholarships are also available.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Utkansh and the tech fest is Techniti. Books and journals are available in the library and you can issue the same and read them in your rooms. Classrooms are fully modern with central ACs and comfy seats and projectors. Various sports are also available in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

The facilities are 2 beds, 1 table, 1 mirror, 2 almirahs. The mess quality is good like we can have it 3 times a day and the breakfast, lunch, dinner are diverse in menu. Overall the quality is good. Registration process for hostel can be found on institutite website.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

Eligibilty of the course is minimum 75% in 12th class. The application form can be found online on the website of NTA which is the conducting agency of JEE MAINS. Application fee is 650 for General category. Admission process is suitable for such examination.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... And in eme they provide the real life assignments projects . The exams are of approx 3 hrs and difficulty level is what that is taught in class

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
