Course Curriculum Overview

I have had an interest in making cars since childhood. Mechanical engineering has the best faculty in the nitj. There are two professors and all others are assistant professors. There were two minor exams and one end sem. It was difficult to pass.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 78000 per year

Placement Experience

Our compass offer placement. Computer Science students get the highest package in our institute greater than 50 lakhs. Mechanical branches don't have packages like 50 lakhs but the placement %age is very good up to 96% and an average of 7 lakhs. Other branches also have good placement percentages.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is constant for me over the last two years. You can fees reduced if your parent's income is less than 5 lakhs and if your parent's income is less than 1 lakhs you have only to pay for hostel fees and mess fees and other charges and tuition is free and there are no. of the scholarship program in our institute.

Campus Life

There are there fest. One is tech nity which is held in February and the other is Utkarsh which is our biggest fest which is held in March. There are not that many books in the library and our Library is small but soon our new Library will which bigger than the previous library. There are lots of sports and social groups and clubs in our institute.

Admission

The admission process is good in nitj. I don't there is any need for improvement. Yes, there is a very good reservation. For admission, you have to do the entrance exam jee main. After clearing jee main you have to apply for jossa counseling through which you will get courses according to your percentile.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

NIT JALANDHAR

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
