Course Curriculum Overview

Before there used to be two minors or midsem in the college first in September then after one year in October and the end sem in the last week of November. but from this year there is only one mid sem of 30 marks and end sem of 50 marks.

Internships Opportunities

Companies that visit our college frequently are Microsoft, tata motors, bpcl, intel, etc we get the minor project in 3rd year and the major project in the final year we have to do it to get the degree though it does not affect so much your cg.

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is very good currently this year placement went higher than the previous year also mechanical placement is 95 percent and the average is 8 lpa .companies like bpcl, tata Motors do visit our campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I am from general so for general mess fees are 25000 and the hostel fees are 88000. For obc hostel, the fee is 48000. I will sit for an internship this year my senior told me that getting an internship is common and you can get it.

Campus Life

There are as many clubs in the college for sports there is basketball, football, cricket, volleyball, and kabaddi and also badminton, etc .there is a dance club, music club, drama club, there is also a club called prayer that helps in the studies of poor kids.

Admission

Yes, there are reservation benefits for a lower class like sc, st, and obc in hostel fees as well as in mess fess obc gives 2/3 of the college fees and the admission process is good and needs improvement in some points.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
