Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty was very good. Teaching syllabus course in detail as per University guidelines. The student ratio of the class is 50. There are best teachers who have in dept knowledge of specified subjects and are they have expertise in that subject

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of this college is very reasonable as this is a govt college. This college also provides financial assistance to those students who cannot afford it and also scholarships to merit students

Campus Life

The college campus has a well-stored library, a gym and also a canteen for students. There are many extracurricular activities undertaken by the college for overall development & growth of students. Also, watsapp groups are made for students and any official notification is published both in the website and college grp

Admission

Application forms are searched from a website and accordingly, the entrance exam is given by students and the merit list of the candidate is selected. There are 3merit lists declared by the college of the shortlisted candidates

Placement Experience:

Idk but i guess students become eligible from 2nd or 3rd sem. Idk what is the company visited but the placements are very good i heard that, avg package varies 2.4 lpa I guess. Right now i am doing internship so as of now i don't have plans.

Most of the students also get placement opportunities whether large or small package The opportunity is given to all degree whether it be bcom or bcom hons . Any student who does not get placed can easily use the degree to get a high paying off campus placements and to go to any good college or stay in this college for their post graduation.

Decent government college which needs to improve.

The course curriculum is obviously outdated and the knowledge we get through it, is bookish and does not apply to present industry methods. This way we are given no exposure to the real life industry knowledge. The exams are held on semester basis after every 6 months and are easy and manageable.

Quite an Average Government College which lacks in infrastructure, faculty, and placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I mentioned, the course curriculum is outdated and no new industry knowledge is being taught. Projects and assignments are also bookish and are just for sake. Teaching methods by teachers are also bookish and backward. The frequency of exams are after every 6 months and are pretty manageable and easy.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college.
