Firstly, Microbiology is an interdisciplinary subject that requires knowledge from every science subject including maths although the preference for chemistry and biology is more than physics. The faculty member here is quite capable of teaching such a complex subject with a much easier approach.

As this college is run by the government of West Bengal thus the fees taken from the students are very minimum also the eligible students are provided with the svmcm scholarship also the girls are provided with kanyasree scholarship worth Rs. 25000 for three years.

This college conducts a fest named "Dhun" every year. Popular singers, bands and other celebrities perform in this annual fest. The college has a large campus along with a playground, library, gym, basketball court, football court and two buildings, one for science subjects and the other one for humanities.

I got admitted to this college on the basis of my percentage acquired in the class 12th examination of CISCE. As the covid period was running our admission was completely an online procedure. The schedule for admission will be provided on the college portal. The only improvement I want in the admission process is that the reservation should not be kept for the sc, st, obc, etc.
