Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course partially because of my interest in economics and partially also because I was getting one of the top courses that are economics(h) in one of the top colleges so wanted to grab this great opportunity. The faculty is excellent and student-friendly. The experience has really been amazing so far. Exams are held semester wise and we need to put in efforts for the university exams.
Internships Opportunities
The college has an internship cell to work on this. Students can also look for internships on their ground too. Roles offered are - human resources intern, marketing and sales, outreach, campus ambassador, consulting, finance department, and several others. Depends very much on students' interests.
Placement Experience
Semester 5 (I mean a third-year student) is eligible to sit for placements. As far as my knowledge- consulting, and finance companies visit the campus. The average placement package is approx 7.9 lpa and campus placements do hold a lot many good opportunities.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't think so there has been any fee hike or anything as such. Not yet confronted the campus placements. Regarding scholarship or financial assistance, you can visit the college website and get all the required information.
Campus Life
Yes, there are events done by college societies, startup fairs set up, and cultural events. There is a wide availability of books on all subjects of interest. Classroom have the required amenities. The college has a sports ground, a badminton court, football, basketball, and NCC faculty.
Admission
I got admission to my college through the board examination marks criteria. The eligibility of the Economics (H) course is maths and economics is a compulsory subject to be included while calculating the cut-off percentage. The details of the application form are available on the college website or on the Delhi University official website also. It entails all the details regarding fees, syllabus, admission criteria, etc. No reservation benefits were applied.
