Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because of my interest in manufacturing. faculty-student ratio is 80:1 The teachers are very qualified and the course is up to date. We had a timely midterm and end-sem exam and they were pretty easy to pass
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Microsoft, Mckenzie, Eicher, and JP Morgan offer internships in the college and most of the companies for a stipend of 20000- 40000 per month for a 6-month internship. The projects involve solving a problem.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for internship in the 6th semester and for placement in the 7th semester. The best of the companies visit the college however if you are not from the computer and science branch the opportunities are fewer.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are reasonable considering the brand of the college. There are 8 semesters and each semester's tuition cost is 70000 to 80000. There are many scholarships and financial assistance you can avail and the details are available on the website.
Campus Life
Life on campus is fun and easygoing. The attendance criteria are not very strict. The library consists of all the course books. The college has cricket, basketball, badminton, table tennis and a chess team. The college fest is a perfect great opportunity to learn and grow.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms were very small but the electricity and wifi facility was good. The meals were healthy but boring. The hostels might not be affordable for everyone. The PGs available nearby are of good quality.
Admission
The college takes JEE Mains scores for the admission process. Cutoff of the course varies for different branches during my time it was 50000 You can apply to the college by visiting the website of the college - pec.edu.in.
Interview Experience
The selection process included a counselling round and in those rounds, we had to sit for the various cutoffs of different branches. The interview process is inconsequential and only involves helping you.
