Course Curriculum Overview
CSE is presently like anything, hence I decided. The student ratio is good, it's almost the same as other private universities. The faculty is well qualified and because this is a secondary PES campus so if they have better options in the main campus this is a strict University and the exams are quite timely held and the examination process is also quite good (inter-sem exams are held in the college systems while the end sem once are held in a hybrid manner u can proceed with system or writing). Difficulty to pass is moderate and if u are scoring well in the exams then it's very good. most of our students study in their websites where they provide u with the study material and etc.
Placement Experience
From 3rd sem u will get internships and also the first company to hire will also enter the campus. A lot of good companies like Cognizant, tata, and Microsoft come here and they have good offers also, the highest in 2022 was about 58 LPA, and AVG CTC is around 10 to 9lpa. A quiet good percentage of people get hired this is what is the advantage of this college and the city it is in i.e. Bangalore I am still in 1st year so I wouldn't know the exact numbers. I still don't have any plans for further studies though it might change after some time, especially after the end of the course.
Fees and Financial Aid
If u get a seat in their entrance exams or through Jee mains results then u will pay approx 4.5 lpa for the course and there is also a management quota where u pay 10lpa, and if u get a govt seat by scoring in KCET then u will around 1.12lpa (which also varies with reservation quota, the one I mentioned, is for general quota which I also paid). If u also want hostel facilities then will pay an extra 1.3lpa which is a good price for this hostel compared to other hostels in Bengaluru where everything is expensive and u get good amenities in a hostel and also the food is good. They do have many scholarships on the basis of our academics from min 1.5k to 2k for the distinction to 18k for the CNR Rao scholarship which is given to those who scored more than 9 cgpa also refund ur fee if kept on scoring 9 cgpa throughout the course.
Campus Life
U will have a lot of hackathons throughout the sem and some good tech fests are included in them only while speaking abt annual fests, reminder it's a strict university that mainly focuses on academics hence they have fewer fests and are usually in the even sems like 2nd, 4th, etc. The library is good and provides everything related to the course and the classrooms are spacious and well lit they have TV screens in every class for displaying the slides (as most of our study material is online)and they do provide wifi which is important as their are a lot of network issues in the class (maybe some network blockers). The examination halls are Air conditioned They do have sports pieces of equipment, on our campus we have a good cricket ground which is well maintained and also basketball and football grounds which are ok. They have indoor games like pool, chess, and badminton in a Structure called MRD center and a good gym.
Admission
U can get into this college by either PESSAT(their own entrance exam) , JEE Mains, or KCET (Karnataka common entrance exam) I got this course through KCET and it is the most economical way of getting into this college The admission process wasn't that hard, in my case first u have to apply for KCET counseling (even PESSAT guys also have to attend their own counseling). U have a lot of reservations if u belong to some low caste category like SC or ST (u can literally surpass many general people just like jee mains counseling process ) and once u get a seat for yourself, u can get admission in this college almost seamlessly, everything was online and admission forms and application were filled online on their own systems (in the college itself), But still, u need to get some hard copies of Adhaar and other govt stuff. I won't ask for any improvements.
