Remarks

College is great. It was my dream college, however I was disappointed with the culture initially but now I am OK with it. College has best coders around you can learn many new technologies and it has great library with high speed internet connection throughout the campus.

Entrance Preview

I got admission in M.Sc IT, after clearing an exam conducted by DA-IICT. This college is located in Gandhi nagar around 23km from Ahmadabad Railway Station and 12Km approx from Ahmedabad Airport, there was no interview process for this course. This course is very well designed and placement statistics is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

DBMS, C, Web Programming, Cloud Computing, Information System Security, Discrete Mathematics are few the important subjects. Every day we have labs and regular assignments are given in order to enhance the practical learning. Major Electives are: Coding Theory, MIS, Principles of Management, Human-computer interaction.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, College provides internship opportunities. My experience was great. Average stipend: 5000 INR

Placement Experience

Placement scenario is great. 85% students are placed. Major recruiters are: Amazon, Morgan Stanley, Microsoft, HSBC, Oracle, Evosys, Infosys, Directi, Endurance etc., average package: 5.5 lpa.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Course fee was 50000 INR per sem. Now it is increased to 70000 INR per semester for our juniors.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is only for PhD and B Tech Students. Loan can be taken from ICICI, college has tie-up with that. College helps in getting it if required by providing all the documents that are required.

Campus Life

It was great. There are ample opportunities to showcase my talent.

Hostel Facilities

No, I was not residing in the hostel. However, they provided us accommodation outside campus which was great. Rooms in the college hostel are on sharing basis 2 students per room. The hostel doesn't have a mess, students can buy foods from the college canteen, which has varieties of foods available, from Veg to Non-Veg and South Indian to Chinese. Price is affordable. The maximum expenditure would be below 4000 per month.

Exam Structure

Culture is mixed and we get to learn many good kinds of stuff during that, however, the day is tiring but the exams are really fun. No lengthy answers to write and duration is maximum 2 hours.

Faculty

Each and every faculty in DA-IICT is highly qualified and holds Ph.D. They use slides and animations to teach. The standard of teaching is good, they sometimes ask us to do the things of our own so that we can engage with the subjects and also they illustrate the concepts by organizing hands-on sessions regularly.

In the second year of the MSc, many adtech companies come to the campus to hire students. In 2025, 95% students are placed who are interested in the placement of MSc Mathematics. The course curriculum is excellent in every way! The course, which I did was of Life Sciences, and it's curriculum was absolutely wonderful! The syllabus had been designed such that it perfectly aligned with the syllabus of various exams, such as CSIR, GATE etc. And also, for the end semester dissertation, our university allowed us to pursue it from any other institute or university if we wish to, and encouraged us to do so. And because of that I did my dissertation research from SLS, JNU, in cancer biology.

I admire the College administration, everything was perfectly organised and the staff was very kind and helpful. The evening talks are excellent. DAIICT's review

In the front section I mentioned I got BITs Hyderabad, BITs mersa, Nirma and other colleges below the ranking of mine. I choose this college so as to stay near home town and it had very good placements compared to others. While BITs Hyderabad is better than DAIICT, it is too costly. I got rejected from IITs as my JEE Adv rank was 22k and you need 5k for a really good IIT with your preferred choice. Admission in DAIICT is via JEE main or ACPC. DA-IICT review (2021 - 2025)

At 12.7k AIR in JEE '21 , I was getting SVNIT ECE, IIIT Gwalior 5 year course and NIT Patna CSE. Chose this because of the proximity and good placements statistics. Got rejection from IIIT B, my dream college. Couldn't make it because the cutoff shot high that year. Admission process is just submitting your JEE Score and apply through their website.
