Likes

The lab is equipped with good apparatus and tools for hands-on practice
Conferences, workshops and extra classes were useful for learning more technically
Overall infrastructure was good including classes, lab, library and other parts

Dislikes

Less number of staff members for respective subjects
Lack of clinical exposure, limiting understanding of real-time patients

Course Curriculum Overview

The things that influenced me include clinical work, which is interesting to me. The curriculum does not prepare you for real-world applications; you need hands-on & clinical practice Teaching methods are already good. For curriculum, more emphasis on real-time clinical exposure is necessary Frequency was one in 3-4 months. Difficulty level can be 7 out of 10

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees for Msc. in clinical embryology & assisted reprodcutive technology- 90,000 INR Per semester: Tution fees- 8500, Laboratory fee- 15000, facilitation fee- 21500- total 45,000 per semester There were no scholarships, everyone paid same amount of fees

Campus Life

The social life at the college is average, as the college was on an evening batch. There were days celebration, and other activities were we got to socialize rarely. There were no groups, social clubs, or any other forms of social life.

Admission

I didn't apply to any other colleges because this course was available at only Gujarat University in 2023. The admission process is simple. You can fill online form for admission, and you get admission based on merits only.

Faculty

There were 4-5 teachers for 30 students, which is good enough in terms of ratio, but not covering enough subjects that need to be taught. The faculty-to-student ratio was average. They were approachable, but still, on average, parameters Faculty that I liked include Vishal Nanavaty & Samarth Sir, due to their excellent knowledge in their field. There are 4 exams per semester- 2 internal exams & 2 external ones, with each having one practical & one theory exam All exams are hard, but students can clear them with good preparation. Course curriculum is exactly relevant

Night Life

The university closes around 8 pm. There is no such structure open after evening. You can go on a walk on campus in the evening as the university is surrounded by good nature and walking pathways. It feels refreshing

IIT Gandhinagar campus life

Placement Experience:

In the second year of the MSc, many adtech companies come to the campus to hire students. In 2025, 95% students are placed who are interested in the placement of MSc Mathematics. One of my batchmates got an INR 48 LPA package at the Tech company Accenture Japan. And the average Package is an INR 17 LPA.

Life in IITGN

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our campus is very active with proving prior practise session and meetings. It goes on two phase ,one in semester 1 and another in semester 2. The ratio of Btech getting placed is higher than other departments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is excellent in every way! The course, which I did was of Life Sciences, and it's curriculum was absolutely wonderful! The syllabus had been designed such that it perfectly aligned with the syllabus of various exams, such as CSIR, GATE etc. And also, for the end semester dissertation, our university allowed us to pursue it from any other institute or university if we wish to, and encouraged us to do so. And because of that I did my dissertation research from SLS, JNU, in cancer biology.

A satisfying delight

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because this was a new course and I have literally sone interest in this course when I started studying about this course. The faculty-student ratio is 1:15. The faculty is very good and they all are well qualified almost all the faculty have done MPhil and PhD in their field. The term exams very mostly in 2 to 3 months and the exam was not that much difficult to pass for an average student if they had studied.

This is year 2021 when we have probably 1000% more jobs in IT than 10 years ago. It is much easier to get in Tier-1 companies. The answer was still a BIG no back in 2010 when two of my closest friends did not get placed in college placement and it did turn out into their favor as they cracked even better companies than the ones at college. Math is simple only if you wish to do it: Assume that you will work your entire life until you retire. Let’s take the most pessimistic scenario of an average employee’s life. I admire the College administration, everything was perfectly organised and the staff was very kind and helpful. The evening talks are excellent.
