I like the campus and the facilities present in college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course because It was my dream and I have always been excited to learn how to make medicine. Faculty Student ratio is very good. The professors are highly qualified and they taught us very well. The exams are conducted at the perfect time and the question paper is quite tricky but not so hard if you study properly and attend every class.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 114000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for 4 years Course is rs-477000 which is quite high for middle-class students. There is a Scholarship and financial assistance from the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship program of Govt. of WB. Which helped me and other students like me to maintain the fees.

Campus Life

Mridang which was conducted in the month of March. The library is quite good and you can easily find the book and notes from the library. Classrooms are quite big and smart classrooms are also available. There is a game complex and a playground for games and sports.

Admission

Eligibility criteria for the course are Madhyamika and Higher Secondary in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Application forms, application fees, and application dates are available on the college website. A reservation facility is always available. The admission process is very convenient.

Placement Experience:

1. 7th semester but more accurately 8th semester. 2.Cipla,Sunpharma, Tata1Mg, Frankrose, MedPlus,Alkem, Glenmark etc 3. Minimum 8 YGPA 4. Higher education is the primary aim but if i get some appropriate job opportunities then think about them also.

The placement rate of our college is very good . Companies like macloeds, cipla, apollo, Glenmark,lupin , visits here to hire freshers in a decent amount. approx 65-70% students get placed in the campus,and reaming students are went for higher education in the different parts of the country.

Gitanjali college also gives adequate placements opportunities. Opportunities comes from many sectors. Appolo, Med plus etc. are common and easy opportunities. Beside them Mainly Production companies like Macloids, Sun Pharma etc also conducts interview for their production units every year. Interviews are arranged for 4th year students only. My plan is to continue my higher studies.

Placement of the college is good last year 24 batch senior get placed and he got the highest package of 8 lpa and median package of 5 lakh and lowest package 2.50 lakh almost every student get placed and some student get for higher studies

Placement are not so good but I can confirm you that if you are good in studies then you will have a min package of 50LPA .Every pharma companies in india or out india contains our alumnis as well as you will get a polite and respectful behaviour in every company after knowing you r passed out from Iopj .
