Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course mainly because of my interest in the area and the vast opportunities available at the present time. The faculty:student ratio is good in the institute. We have a good number of faculties as well to have a frequent interaction with and maintain a good relationship with the department. All faculties are well-experienced and approachable. We have a good balance of faculties who have experience working in the corporate field as well as teaching experience. Term exams are conducted as one internal in a month and is conducted after the proper completion of the syllabus and proper revision to make the students ready to face the exam, making it less difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Students have the opportunity to start with their internships are the beginning of their 3rd semster and can be done from any place within your comfort. The inetrnship has to be done for a minimum of 1 month with/without a stipend. The projects can be of any domain - web development, mobile app development, UID etc.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are offered by the college every year and has a variety of companies visiting the campus with high and average packages. A high percentage of students are getting placed before they leave the college and which is really helpful to provide a good start to step into the corporate world. After getting the degree, I would like to find myself as a part of a good company with good package and a one that interests me.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is of the course can be a bit more affordable. We are allowed to apply for scholarships through the ssp portal and get assistance for any kind of financial needs. We have campus placements available with companies offering good pacakges visiting us.
Campus Life
Cultural fest - in June, technical clubs and non-technical clubs for each department The college library has access to all required resources - articles, textbooks, etc. The classrooms are located in a convenient space making it easily available for the labs and other departmental activities. Sports activities - inter departmental competitions, college level competitions etc. (Football, cricket, badminton..)
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good and manageable. There are no much disturbances for the students. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. Meals are also good and available at all times - there is a balance of veg and non-veg meals and a healthy one as well. Registration can be done along with the admission process of the course that your pursuing at the college. Hostel fee has to be paid as a whole for an academic year before your stay and cannot be refunded or paid on a regular interval, which is a drawback from the affordability point of view.
Admission
The admission process was purely based on the merit and the details about the admission processes to be completed and the fee structure were all communicated in person. The classes got a bit delayed even after the completion of the admission process. Otherwise the admission process was smooth and organised.
