The college life and the campus environment is very good.
Our IT department faculty is also very good , the teachers prepared you for the placement.
There is no ragging is held in our college.

The environment outside the college is also bad.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose B Tech in the Information Technology department because I want to be a software engineer. The faculty of our IT department is so good . Teachers will help you to solve your problems at any time. Their teaching methods are also good. In our IT department, there are 190 students and there are around 25 teachers available. In every semester they took 4 CA or internal exams.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have never joined in any internship. The internship only depends on you and your connection with the students and teachers. Teachers are giving some internship opportunities, but it fully depends on you. Teachers will prepare you for the placement. They gave many individual and group projects and assignments throughout the 4 year.

Placement Experience

From the last year means from the 7th semester every student is eligible for campus placement. There are many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, TCS etc. come to our college every year for placement. The highest package provided by our college is 65lakh/year. The average package is 6.5 lakh/year. The placement obviously depends on you and the department you study. 80% of students are being placed in our department. I also want to be placed at the end of the year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college has one policy, if you study according to the teacher's guidance you will be placed 100% for sure. In every semester you need to pay 60000 rupees, so the total cost of the course is around 500000 rupees. At this college, I got Swami Vivekananda Scholarship.

Campus Life

Our college campus is so small. But every year there will be a fest only for your department but there will be also many fests in a year from the college. You will obviously enjoy your college life at our college. The classrooms of our college are very neat and clean and also have AC.

Admission

I joined this college in the IT department by giving the WBJEE exam. By giving WBJEE or JEE(main) you can get a chance to admit to our college. Some seats are also available for direct admission. So if you want you can join our college in any department by direct admission.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
