Remarks

Not much.but the work load is too much for the students to handle sometimes

JEE Mains.I got a decent score at mains.then I had to register on the online sites.no there was no interview process only the forms were checked.My grades choses me the stream I guess.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course does not focus on practical learning at all...too much emphasis is given on theoretical part.

Internships Opportunities

Well college provides internship to some students who get well grades.But as I am in 3rd semester I haven't experienced it.

College Events

There are many fest's in the college.It looks like in every month there is a fest.there is the pec fest which combines of all technical, cultural, managerial fests

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is affordable to some extent.The registration fee is about 68k which also includes the first-semester fee, then in the even semester it drops to 55k for general and 5500 for SC/ST

Yes the college provides scholarship to those who need and to those who have worked hard through the semester

Yes as I am into cricket.the college explored my talents and told me to take part in the cricket team.and the college also encourages students to explore their talents.

So far I have not interacted at all with the aluminium"s .but I have been told that they give generous donations to the university.

form 3rd year college placements get started but student can do side internship by themself in 1st and 2nd year offcampus type , there is no restriction from our college . in 2023 atlasian give highest package of 83 lpa . various companies like microsoft , jp morgan , american express come to PEC for hiring .

Overall im loving this college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

Placement Experience:

The companies come for the recruitement at the end of 5th semester and offers nice employement opportunities. As the reccession being in place, i have gained some respect for the university in terms of placement. The seniors told us tyhat about 200 companies came the last time the sat for the interviews and some of them offered greeat packages ( keeping in mind the reccesion ). Highest package offered was around 32 lakhs. 5 students were offered this salary.( Company - cant recall ) The avreage package keeping in mind the mass recruitement ( done by wipro) would be arounnd 5-6 lakhs.

Best college and campus

Placement Experience:

Around the 5th -6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Some of the chemical companies like Reliance, ExxonMobil, Honeywell, Vedanta, and many more, give children with average of 7-8 lakh packages.

A affordable Chemical engineering College in Beautiful City Chandigarh.

Placement Experience:

Placement of chemical engineering in our college is very good. 70-80% of students got placed before covid. Many big companies such as reliance, exonn, Infosys, srf, etc visits. The highest package is more than 18LPA this year.

Entrance Preview:

There are a lot of options to get admission into the college. I got admission through giving college's entrance test which was pretty challenging. I followed the forums online and revised my syllabus of class 9th to 12th inorder to be able to crack the entrance. Apart from this, I also studied the previous year papers which were pretty good and helped me see the pattern of the examination. Overall, the admission process is easy.

Remarks:

The college is overall a nice college. I will rate it 7.5/10. The atmosphere here is good. Seniors are very helpful with no ragging case in about 20 years. It makes it more remarkable. The technical side is ok but the cultural side dominating it to a good extent. Overall I think I have made the right decision for the IDEAL college.

The Admission is done on the basis of JEE Mains, the admission to college is taken by the score of JEE mains. On the basis of AIR i.e. all india rank. Streams are alloted with the merits scored in JEE conducted by cbse. The rank scored by me in 2013 is 78000/-.I got admission in DTU but not got the desired branch in the college so i choose this college, after seing its placements.

I chose this college over other colleges because of the placements. No matter how outdated their curriculum is but this college gives good placements. At my rank this was the best college which was giving an average of package of 12LPA from Production and Industrial Engg. I also wanted to live in a good city so I chose this college. If we talk about the admission process of this college, you have to first appear in JEE Mains. Then you have to apply in JOSAA Counselling. There are 6 rounds in JOSAA in which seat is alloted to the students who have got better ranks. Imo if you are a general category student then you have to score above 96 percentile to get in Production of PEC. If you dont get any seat in JOSAA then there is CSAB also.
