Course Curriculum Overview

I choose B Tech in Information Technology because I want to be a software engineer. The faculty of our department is so good. Teachers will help you to solve your every education-related problem. There are 15 to 16 teachers available for our department. They take 4 ca exams in between each semester.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The teachers sometimes give you 1 or 2 internship offers, but it fully depends on you and if you want an internship offer your connection needs to be very good. College gives you so many projects and group projects and also prepares you for placement.

Placement Experience

In the 4th year, you are eligible for placement if you are a B Tech student. There are several companies that visit our college like Wipro, Microsoft, Amazon, Byjus, Tcs etc. There are 70 to 75% of students are got placement in every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college policy is so simple, if you got admission to our college and you study then you will get placement. There is no ragging in our college. Every semester you need to pay around 60000 rupees. I got Swami Vivekanand Scholarship at this college.

Campus Life

There are many fests held in our college. 100% you will enjoy your college life at our college. There is a huge library in our college, you will get every engineering-related book at the library. The classroom has good quality and also has ac in the classroom. There are many clubs at the college like Phonix and Rotaract clubs.

Admission

You can get admission to this college by giving WBJEE and JEE MAIN. And also some seats are available for management qouta or direct admission. I am doing B Tech in Information Technology. This course is for 4 years.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year students become eligible for placements.Google, Microsoft,Gold Man Sacks, Apple were some of the companies that visited NIT Durgapur For placement regard.The highest package was 80lpa and the average package was 13 lpa.Total of 83% students got placed.The placement is quite good.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My experience about techno

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Elegibility for placement-Generally students become elligible for campus placement in their 7th semester or 8th semester and there might be some prerequisties such as minimum CGPA must be 6-7 with no bachlogs Internship and pre-placement offers-many companies offer internships during the 6th semester or 7th semester and successful interns may receive pre-placement offers if their performance is good. Companies that visits campus: TCS Accenture Cognizent Infosys Wipro Capgemini Deloite Byjus Tech Mahindra Placement Percentage-On average 80%-90% of students may secure jobs through campus placements.However this numbers could vary across different departments and specialization Highest and average package-The highest salary offered at Techno India University was 24 LPA and the average salary was 4-5 LPA. Plans after getting the degree: My plans depends on placement.If I get a job of around 15 LPA then I will not do master degree and if I get job of around 4-5 LPA then I will do master for further great opportunities

Things you should know before taking admission in NSEC

Others college which i got confirmed is RIT /quantum and haridwar university but i didn't go there because it was very far from my hometown and placement wasn't that much good as compared to my current college. I have given the west bengal joint entrance exam(wbjee) and through it the nsec college was allotted to me through counselling process. When the result declared, you have to apply for counselling and put your choice of colleges with rank. Every round you will be allotted college according to your result rank. Passing out in 2025, have seen a old place in 2021, to a new college in 2025, rennovated

I had a senior in my locality, 2019 passout, following whom I joined NSEC. I still admire and thank him for guiding me while joining NSEC. While admission I didint face any kind of interview. I had got a rank in WBJEE, and during the first counselling round, I selected NSEC, got NSEC, and finalized it by paying the first semester fees. I wasnt rejected by any college, as I went ahead with my first option. The counselling round at college isnt anything special, just a question whether or not we would be able to bear the college fees, as all comes down to money.
