The faculty of techno main salt lake is quite good they are friendly and helpful. majority of them graduated from IIT or Jadavpur University. I choose the mechanical department because I can take the interview with both core and IT companies. in techno, they take four internal exams that are CA1, CA2, CA3, and CA4. ca1 is ppt making and ca2 is report writing so you can easily get good marks in ca1 and ca2. ca3 is a written exam that you have to give in college that is the toughest CA. and ca4 is again a college-based exam but this time it is an online exam that you have to give from college PC. and there are two practical exams one is taken with ca2 and another one is taken with ca4. getting marks in CA is an easy task because the best of four CA marks are considered for final evaluation. faculty of our college are chill with attendance that is the best part.

internship opportunities come for mainly cse and IT branches. and for core, you have to find an internship outside the campus which is a bit difficult. some companies that give internships to cse are Persistence technology.

Placement is good in this college. After going to the 6th semester many companies start offering you internships and later they will give you PPO. After going into the 7th-semester company start coming for its placement drive the start IT company comes after the core company start their recruitment drive. the majority of students get placed in any one of the companies with just a little bit of preparation. average salary is around 4lakh per year and highest is around 12 to 20 lakh per year. IT companies are the mass recruiter TCS is the god for students because it takes the majority of students.

when I have taken admission in techno the fee structure was 480000 for four years. but now as of my knowledge now the fee is around 580000 for four years. but still considering techno main salt lake as a top college in west Bengal and it is private so it is not that much. Student in our college is increasing year by year because of the quality of study and the good placement. there are some scholarships namely swami Vivekanand scholarship that is for students from west Bengal, you can get 60k every year

The best part about this college is that there are literally a lot of fests that keep happening every time you visit the college. There are two main fests the first one is the cultural fest which is called ANAKHRONAS it is the best fest of our college every year a celebrity singer comes to the fest to perform this year Monali Thakur came and that was a hell of a good experience. the second one is the technical fest called Edge this is also a very good fest famous stand-up comedians are there to perform like Rahul dua came last year. and after the performance, there are many technical competitions like gaming, robotics etc. Sports fest is also there organised by the club Technotkarsh every sport that is possible is organised in this fest and everyone in college participates and has fun. there are many clubs and societies that also organise their fest but they don't have that much hype. In short, the best part about this college is its campus life. loved it.

The admission process is based on your rank in the WBJEE exam. The WBJEE exam is conducted every year. you can fill out the form of wbjee and if you have a rank between 1k to 5k you can get CSE and IT branches and you can get a core branch if you have a rank of around 50k. Wbjee exam is not that tough you can prepare for it in 3 to 4 months and get a good rank and get a college admission.
