Experience is good. We have free atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Entrance Preview

Yes! The exam which we have to give is NCHMCT. I always wanted to be a chef and this college is India's best college in hotel management. And that's the most important reason i choose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have 4 core subjects and in this course everyday we have practical as well theory classes for the same. In last year of the curriculum students have to prepare a research project on given topics

Internships Opportunities

Yes! college takes us to the companies.where we have to give interviews to get through. Experience was nice industries are totally different than what it is shown in books! 1300 was the average stipend.

Placement Experience

Placement starts earlier than any other colleges.around 70-75 % students is averagely placed every year. Tata group, itc , Oberoi group, hilton . Average package we are getting this year is 3lacs per annum

College Events

We have some fest which is like traditional stuff for our college since years. 1. Culture kurry 2.cornocopia. fest is celebrated on large scale. Average footfall was around 10 thousand people.yes college authority helps us in arrangements and sponsorships.

As compared to other private colleges of hotel management this college is quite affordable. We have to pay almost 1lac per year.

Yes. We have scholarships and loan. I've never availed any of them. And college do help to find right option for financial support.

Campus Life

College doesn't have much scope for extracurricular to be very honest.but yes few of my friend do participate in such activities for there passion.

Hostel Facilities

We have hostel in our own campus for both girls and boys. Generally in our hostel we share room with other two students of the same year and same course. We have to pay additional 70 thousand rupees for the hostel and it depends on your performance in first year. food is nice.

Alumni/Alumna

We don't have such big alumni network honestly.

Exam Structure

Yes. We do have every week assignment and tests. But i don't think it is tiring at all.

Faculty

All the faculty members are well qualified and experienced in our field. And they are teaching in this college for years.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals

IHM Mumbai - one of the best colleges to launch your dream of being a hospitality professional!

The admission to anu IHM in the country is on the basis of entrance exam called the NCHMCT-JEE (National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology - Joint Entrance Exam) The admission is on the merit basis and all the rules of reservation apply here too.
