Course Curriculum Overview
Institute of hotel management, Mumbai offers you a degree in BSC in Hospitality and Hotel Administration of three years under IGNOU university of three years. From the last year the IGNOU university has been changed to JNU.
Internships Opportunities
In second year all students have to do intership of 4 months compalsary. In any hotel above 3 start in all 4 core departments that is food production, food and beverage, front office and housekeeping. Companies like EIH is oberoi group, IHG is intercontinental, IHCL taj hotels and many more.
Placement Experience
From 5th semester we are eligible for campus placement. Companies like ihcl, ihg, eih, the Hyatt and Hilton the etc. All most ever students gets a placement via college. Many of the students have plans like to do MBA, MSc or to get into any MT program of any company. MT program is a management training program offered by the company which allows you previllage of getting promoted to managers level in span of two years. It is paid program and they have examination as well. Minimum package offered by any company is 3 lacks per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
We have pay fees by semester wise and each semester has different fees. Difference is not too much but little bit. For the first semester fees is 95,500 which includes tution fee, admission fee, nchm free , JNU fee institute fee examination and caution fees. And from second semester fees is same till the sixth semester that is 78,000. Fee structure is available on the college website. Scholarship is available for SC, OBC category student. Student can apply form mahadbt or centreal State sites
Campus Life
Their are many events which happens in the college like omna Christmas ganpati celebration, navratri celebration and like food vest ihm has cornucopia. We have compitition like bar tales, food compitition etc.
Admission
Institute of hotel management Mumbai is one of the top college in india and was the first college in the entire South Asia. Admission process is not to difficult like MBA colleges there is a common site which inform us about cap rounds and they do send a mail as well to confirm our admission in the college.

Faculty is good with students and very helpful in every aspect for the students. Exam are not too difficult nor too easy if you pay attention in the lectures then you can write paper very well.
