Dislikes
- I am not particularly fond of the college campus, as it feels quite small and lacks essential facilities like adequate parking space.
- I feel that the college lacks a vibrant atmosphere, as there are no extracurricular activities or events held throughout the year. This includes the absence of a freshers' event
- The college has very low student strength, and many students don’t even attend regularly. This often results in the cancellation of classes, which is frustrating as it wastes my travel time and causes a significant loss of education.
Course Curriculum Overview
I really appreciate that the university doesn't force vegetarian students to opt for nonveg food preparations I am utterly intrested in bakery and that has made me choose this course the curriculum prepares us for the practical knowledge required in the industry and Introduce us to the inside of the industry.I feel there should be more practicals conducted and a brief knowledge should be provided in them and the attendance for theory as well as practical should be made compulsory also should include some events.The exams are held 2 twice per year on semester basis with practical exams as well practical exams are around 2-2.5 hours long and written exams depend on marks as 60 mark operational subject are 2.5 hours and 40 marks subject are 2 hours long
Placement Experience
The placement as assured are 100% and in top Hotel brands preferably 5star properties also they provide with international placements and a opportunity to start your career abroad in cruise lines and also aviation
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall fees I'm paying is 2.62 lakh and I've availed a scholarship of 75,000 via a scholarship exam which was aptitude based and logical reasoning the fees can be paid yearly of in installments I've 3 installments 1)105000 2)55000 3)90000 And some registration amount and exam fees with uniform fees
Campus Life
The college has almost no campus and it provides no parking space the kitchen and restaurant are very pattite and limited there is no canteen etc the classroom are maximum 4-5 they are well equipped and have air conditioning and projector (1/2 classrooms)there are no major events held almost none .
Admission
I opted for this college as I'm a vegetarian intrested in baking and I this college provided me with a opportunity to skip the meat and nonveg prepration which no other college does .The admission were based on first come and first serve I got admission on merit basis and scholarship on a scholarship exam.
Faculty
The faculty is well experienced and are always willing to make the students understand about the insides of the industry they are always supportive and reflect their experience and knowledge.They are very keen in practical knowledge inside and out of the industry.The course is divided into 6 semesters 2 each year and also include intership and OJT each subject carries 40/60 marks theory and 40/60 marks practical and internals.
Night Life
The college is near pmc bus stop it is not a very safe area in night or even in day light the campus is very small there are no safety precautions except a security guard no cctv cameras the surrounding is very very loud and crowded with a not so nice crowd.
