About Maharashtra State Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology
Maharashtra State Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (MSIHMCT) is a prime institute in the field of hospitality education which was established in 2003 in Pune, Maharashtra. MSIHMCT is the state’s first one institute which conducts a Master program in Management and Catering Technology. The college offers Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHMCT) and Master of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (MHMCT) courses for students.
It also conducts short-term certificate courses in Bakery and Confectionery, Cookery, Food and Beverage Service, Rooms Division Management. The college also has a placement cell in a campus which looks after the Industrial Training programs of students.

When I was given the cet exam which was conducted for the hotel management degree admission at that time I was decided to get admission in this college because this college is no 1 college in Maharashtra and government college.after the ihm college this college is come in first number.theree are various hotel management college are present in the Pune City but I know about this college and faculty so that's why I was decided to get admission in this college only.

MSIHMCTRS is the only college which offers diploma, degree and post graduation degree. College offers full time 4 year degree course which no other colleges offer in Pune city. Main reason to choose this college is that the college is under government sector and also got NACC affiliated

Maharashtra State Institute of hotel management and catering technology, Pune is the only government college in Pune. It's one of the best colleges in Pune one can think of taking admission. As it's a dream for many students who come to Pune or who are from Pune and inspire by the hospitality industry. As it is a government college fee here is very less compared to other colleges in Pune. Recently our college has opened a new building for degree program students. It consists of 3 fully equipped training kitchens, bakery lab, accommodation practical lab,2 training restaurants and classrooms. Facilities here are very helpful, and they guide you really well. We have a 100% placements guarantee. The bad aspects are that our college doesn't have a ground to play any sport.
