Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite good and easy for the students. I have chosen chemical engineering because I have quite an interest in chemistry and Want to play with chemicals. The student: faculty ratio is about 7.3 The quality of the faculties are very good most o them are from IIT and good colleges.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements of the college are average. Mostly students from Computer Science will get higher placement the average package of students is 4lpa to 20 lpa and the percentage of the students who get placed are about 70 percent. The highest package from this college is 25lpa. I have to do a job after my college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very simple and very less. The per semester fee is currently 35000 included with hostel fees and the scholarship process is also very simple, there are many types of scholarships, there the students have various options, there to complete their higher degree from here like Mtech, Ph.D. and some students get their job here too as a professor.

Campus Life

The campus life was awesome, the college is full of a greenish environment. The students here are also very social and open to all and the clubs are very much here and for all fields and branches, some are happy clubs, NCC, taekwondo, and sivesha for photography. We have many facilities in the classroom, there are many smart classes for students loaded with ac, and the sport is also very active.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities provided are up to the mark. There are a total of 10 Boys Hostel available here for boys and 3 girls, and there is SAC which is Student Activity Centre where students and enjoy according to their own gym, football ground, volleyball ground, and stadium available, food shops are also here. There is no extra registration for the hostel you will get the hostel facilities option at the time of registration.

Hostel Fee: INR 9000 per year

Admission

The admission process was very simple and easy. I have come here from Jee entrance exam. My rank is approximately about 1 lakh. Simply, I have got through the counseling process via Jossa after that I got admission to this college based on jee mains marks and after that, you simply have to do a fee payment.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
