Course Curriculum Overview

5

I have been an ardent maths lover so I chose this course. The faculty-to-student ratio is perfect and the faculty teaching are all PhD in their field and are experienced. The term exams happened every 6 months and were of moderate difficulty level.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was nominal and affordable. Internships can be found through Internshala or through campus also. I had a content writing internship that paid me 5k per month. The college has its annual placement season where various companies come for placements.

Campus Life

4

The annual fest was named Rhapsody it's a 2-day fest in which there are many competitions for the students to participate in and the fest ended with a star night. The college is located near the infamous Satyaniketan where you can find affordable housing, cafes, and clubs. The college is also near the Sarojini and lajpat nagar markets which is a hub for college students to shop for trendy clothes

Admission

I got admitted in 2018 so there was no entrance at the time only CBSE board results were considered. The best 4 subjects out of the 5 were considered. Every student was eligible for the course. The students who had maths as a subject benefitted more as the students who did not have maths as a subject had to take a 2.5% percentage cut on their best of 4 marks, after which if they were still fitting the cut off criteria, they would be eligible for the course. The application form was available at the website of Delhi University. You don't have to apply for colleges separately. As and when the lists are released you can check if you qualify for the course in any college and go to the college to fill the admission form. There is a 3 day window to fill the admission form of a college after the list is released. I had not availed any reservation as I am from general category.

I will rate 10 out of 7 to this course curriculum because in this course the experiment and lab works is too low as compare to another courses like biomedical science, bsc zoology and many more. But it's ok I'm happy with this course.

Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.
