Course Curriculum Overview

5

The medical profession is one of the best professions and I wanted to become a good doctor so I opt for this course. The faculty-student ratio is very good in spite of having 250 students each year. 250 are divided into 3 groups A, B and C Then these groups are allowed 2 to 4 teachers. Sometimes groups of 30 students with 2 to 3 teachers in each group while posting groups of 10 students in each ward with 3 to 4 teachers in hospital. Highly skilled and educated Doctors teach students in our college. Terms are 6 months apart and are not much difficult. One can easily pass by working hard .

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The internship is done after the final year in LNJP hospital which is associated with mamc. Do interns get? 27000 stipend every month for the duration of 1 year of their Internship. No projects needed to be done . We have to look after patients in hospital.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee in our college is 2350 yearly with 1200 to 1400 yearly examination fee. 2500 for the library fee which is refundable after completion of the course. The college provides 3 different scholarships out of which 1 scholarship is given to one student based on their financial status.

Campus Life

5

Synapse is celebrated in mamc as an annual fest in September. Lots of books related to the medical profession are available in our central library and multiple copies of each book are also available. The latest journals are also available in our library. The infrastructure is very good in our college In our hostel there is a playground for football, volleyball and basketball. Also, there is a Table tennis board in our hostel. There are many societies in our college like fashion society, dance society, gurukul, Dost etc. Which helps in increasing social interaction among students.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

We are given our beds, study table, chair and locker and the rooms are large. Very good quality of food in our oh mess and there are a variety of food items available in our mess. Different items are served every day. One can purchase any items like samosa, chilli potato, chow min etc from the canteen. The registration process is very simple one has to give their residential proof and allotment is done on the basis of distance from the college. Most of the students get a hostel so no need for pg.

Admission

Those who secured good ranks in their category in the neet exam are eligible after counselling on MCC website. Application forms and Application fees and dates are available on fmsc website. 5% benefits for obc as compared to general. No improvement is required according to me.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate
