Course Curriculum Overview

5

MBBS is a highly comprehensive curriculum given by NMC. It is very vast so you have to be ready to study a lot. although most studenclear exams even with 2-3 month preparation. I cannot suggest for areas of improvement in this, you have to study everything at the end of the day. Exams are passable if you study for thrm lol.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship is compulsory. it is a 1 year rotational internship at LNH hospital. youll learn a lot of clinical skills during that period. It can be hectic, it gives a real world feeling of the the actual medicinal practice.

Fees and Financial Aid

the initial fee was approx 5000 with included a refundable 2k amount. there is additional 3k to 4k examination fee before university exams. fee for all category conditions is same. although there are scholarships schemes which i have not applied for! There are scholarships also on basis of academic and co curricular performance.

Campus Life

4

There is an annual fest called synapse. held yearly in september october. it is conducted by the stydent body ama, its is a 5 day fest which provodes relief from the academic stress. As for libary it has a vast collection of academic books. it is a two storied central ac building. Sports environment is present you just need to be a part of it.

Admission

i applied to AIIMS DELHI, MAMC, VMMC, UCMS, BSA, NDMC where mamc was my second choice. I couldnt make it to AIIMS due to a high cut offf. Admission is done via counselling. documents required can be found o any website. There is an admission fee of 5000.

Faculty

5

the faculty to student ratio varies in lecture it is 1:250 in small group discussions it may vary from 1:85 to 1:25 in DH. the faculties are great. they have an in depth knowledge of their subject. I liked most of the faculties, although some could be strict on you. There are 2 term exams, one sent up, and one proff, there are mini class tests in between these. Internal assessment is the min. criteria to give proffs..

Interview Experience

5

the only way i could be happy with the fact i am a little more confident than you are and you know that is the only thing i am capable to be proud about in my own way is to have fun and enjoy the day off with my family so i am not a burden on my own happiness and i will never forget it and that will never happen to you and you are the only one that can do that for you so please be proud and

Night Life

3

campus gym is present. there are many cafe rats around the campus. library is opened till 6pm although reading room is open 24x7. The caferterias at nesci get closed at 10 pm these days. hostel timings for girls is 11pm while there isnt any for boys. there are many places near college, as it is located in a central location

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Bcoz in mbbs in addition to money there is also a lot of respect, plus it is easy to explain what are u doing ? 2. There are a total of 100 students in our batch and there are at least 2-3 assistant professors, 1 head of department, and at least 4-5 postgraduate and senior residents 3. Assistant professor and Head of the department has already completed there pg's and has experience of 5-10 year of teaching, Senior resident had also completed their pg but the difference between sr's, AP, and HoD is that sr's have lack of experience 4. There is an exam after completion of a particular unit and this is easy then comes the term exam which occurs after 2-3 months it comes under the category of moderate then there is pre-proof before the proof this is quite hard even for some say it's harder than proof, then finally comes off the last exam of that particular year after proof another year start bcoz results of proof usually take 2,3,4 weeks at least
