Course Curriculum Overview
MBBS undoubtedly is one of the toughest courses. Becoming a doctor is a dream of many students and so is mine. It is one of the highly respected professions and curing and helping others gives you another level of satisfaction that's why I choose this course. MAMC has one of the best faculties in India. They are highly qualified doctors in their respective fields. Faculty students ratio is also good at MAMC. For each group of 25-30 students, there are 1-2 PGs, 1 SR, and 1 professor. There are lots of tests and exams in 1st and 2nd year but there is some relaxation in the curriculum afterwards. Terms exams and tests are not easy to pass but also they aren't too difficult. You can pass exams if you have studied regularly.
Internships Opportunities
There is a compulsory internship of 1 year after completing MBBS. During the internship, we are posted in different departments which provides us with experience in each department. 20000+ per month stipend is given which is a decent amount. After the internship, you can join a private/government hospital as a junior resident which gives a handsome salary, or apply for exams for further studies. MAMC tag provides you with lots of opportunities in the research field.
Fees and Financial Aid
MAMC is Delhi government-funded college so fees for MBBS course is very less as compared to private colleges. It cost around 5000 rupees per year which includes the annual fee and examination fee. There is not much hike in fees. For financially weak students, there are 3-4 scholarships that are provided by ex-MAMC faculties. Students can avail of only one scholarship. Names of scholarships are Maulana Azad student scholarship scheme (MASSS) 30000 per annum Usha darshan foundation medical scholarship 40000 per annum Dr. Neelam Vasudeva's medical scholarship 40000 per annum Mrs Prakash Kaur's medical scholarship 25000 per annum

Connaught Place is also not so far. There are tones of societies for eg Music society "Confluence", Drama society "Mrichhkatikam" etc. MAMC has 2 great fests SYNAPSE and GONJ. Synapse is organized in September each year whereas GONJ in March. SYNAPSE is an intercollege fest whereas GONJ is intercollege. MAMC has a central library which has lots of books and the latest journals of the medical field. You can find books and journals easily which you need. The library is fully equipped with A.C.
