I loved the greenery of the college so much
I love the faculty of the English department
I love the students of my class they are just awesome

Dislikes

Fests are not being held at a regular basis
Syllabus is tried to complete at a very fast pace

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose English Hons because English is my favourite subject and I love reading. There are a total of 84 students in our class. The faculty is awesome with amazing professors. The exams are being held timely but it's not very difficult. If you prepare well you can easily get a good cgpa

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 13495 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very minimal. It's per year 13,495. Our placement cell Pinnacle is also awesome where various companies come up for internships with a good stipend. Management, marketing, and finance of all the companies come in a good amount.

Campus Life

Life on campus is pretty well. There are various different societies like dance, music, and debate. There are a lot of books in the library with a good reading space. The classrooms are pretty big and spacious

Admission

Ramjas college is a very good college on the North campus. It has a very big campus and greenery is everywhere. The English department faculty is excellent with renowned and we'll read professors. I love this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Placement Experience:

Placements is for 3rd year students. Many good companies visit our campus like bajaj capital, oberoi group. Highest package is around 22 lakhs. We have a lot of internship and placement opportunities come in for students.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. Honest review of Pros and Cons of DCAC

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is done in the 3rd year. The highest PPO given is 24,00,000 to auditing and taxation departments. Average package is about ?15,00,000 to ?18,00,000. Companies like Eay, KPMG and more visit our college for placement. Most students under the commerce department get offered internships. Other than this, the placement cell also actively keeps sending internship opportunities for students to enhance their profiles. I am an English honours student l, thus there is no placement option for me directly unless I take up options from the P-Cell. I have already interned at EY India, Gurgaon, as a forensics and risk management specialist( throigh personal referral).My knowledge (attained from DCAC) of research, report and article writing were used adequately.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
