Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose this course because the curriculum gives a wide range of knowledge of various subjects. There are around 80 Faculty members and 700 students in my course. All the teachers are well qualified and the teaching methods of teachers are different. some use black board, and some use laptops. etc. Exams are taken semester-wise there are a total of 6 semesters so 6 exams.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

There are many companies offering internships including ITC, KPMG, etc. Roles are somewhat related to consulting and finance. Avg stipend varies every time but it is quite good. Students even get Pre-placement offers after internships

Placement Experience

4.5

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited including big 4s, Mecenzy, bain and brain, public sector companies also. The highest package is around 32 lpa and avg is 8.5 lpa 80-90% of students get placement. My plans after my degree are to complete CA

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees in quite less as compared to other colleges. It is 30000 a year which means 15000 per semester. And hostel fees are also very affordable it is 42600 for accommodation fees and 4000-5000 food per month. I didn't get any scholarship so no idea about it.

Campus Life

4.5

The annual fest is at Crossroads. Apart from this, there is one of Asia's biggest undergraduate fest called Business Conclave is also there. And every society is also having its annual fests. These are generally conducted in the month of April. There are a sufficient number of books are available in the library. All the classrooms are air-conditioned. There is a sports ground and complex for sports. The college has many students driven societies like NSS, Dramsoc, Aarohan etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The room is quite decent. We have been provided with two beds ,two study tables, one big almirah, blankets , towel, etc. The food is very good and hygienic as compared to pg's outside. There are separate cutoffs for hostel admissions and it's quite affordable.

Admission

Any student having maths subject in class 12 was eligible for both the courses i.e Bcom Hons and BA Hons. The application process was online. I took admission under the OBC category so my cutoff was lower than that of General Category.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

Placement Experience:

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college. The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .
