I chose b.com hons because I wanted to pursue CA. According to me, the faculty and students ratio is quite good. Their teaching method includes interactive sessions as well which helps many students in clearing their doubts. Teachers seem well qualified and make all the concepts very easy for us to understand. Term exam's difficulty level was average. There was no delay in term exams.

I have been in Keshav Mahavidyalaya for 6 months, I have heard that internships and placements are happening by the placement cell of Keshav Mahavidyalaya. And other companies are recruiting the students of the college.

Placement Experience

Further, a total of 24 recruiters participated and more than 75 offers have been made during Keshav Mahavidyalaya placements in 2022. Major recruiters who participated during placements in 2022 include DE Shaw & Co, Deloitte, Wipro, Accenture, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of b.com hons in Keshav Mahavidyalaya is approx 10000Rs. The scholarship is provided by University. On-campus placement is placed by the placement cell of Keshav Mahavidyalaya. There are some good internships have been provided.

Campus Life

Honestly, I think, people do not even think much before joining Delhi University. Only when they are settled in a college and all hope is lost to shift to a better one. I will be (hopefully) graduating this May from Gargi College, Delhi University. So, I feel entitled to an opinion about life at DU :) Firstly, Life at DU has not just 50 but 1000s of shades(lol). Every single person you talk to will tell you a drastically different experience.

Admission

My addmission in keshav mahavidyalaya was took place in 2022 this was the year when CUET common university entrance test implemented. Therefore, to take admission to the University of Delhi in under graduation is subject to the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam conducted by NTA. Additionally, from the academic year 2023-2024, DU will conduct the PG courses admission through CUET-PG. However, in the academic year 2022-23, admission to a few UG and all PG courses were subject to DU-conducted entrance exams, namely Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET), or Delhi University LLB Entrance Exam followed by a Personal Interview (PI). Aspirants, willing to apply for Delhi University admission 2023 at more than 90 DU-affiliated/ constituent colleges must register themselves for CUET and then on the DU Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

yes, i have applied for other colleges who teach BMS. Sukhdev college of business studies was my first priority and sadly i couldnt make it into SSCBS as its is NO1 college of India to study BMS and its cutoff is always high as compared to other colleges . to get Admission in these colleges of DU you have to give CUET and then you get admission on your score . for courses like BMS you have to score good In general test and maths as these subjects are considered while Admission . what mistake i did that i could not able to get my dream college is that i did not prepare well . you have to understand that if your goals are bigger you also have to work hard ....Read More

There is no any fixed confirmation to get admission in this college . 3 years of figuring it out at KMV

I applied for Symbiosis Pune, Christ Banglore, NMIMS Mumbai, IIM ROHTAK AND INDORE, I got admission in all except IIM, and also got in Keshav Mahavidyalaya after giving cuet, discussed which should i go for from many mentors and everyone adviced for KMV. Comparing to other colleges the fees here i very very less as all other are private colleges, but the services provided there are according to the fees and so is the crowd. Well I scored 350/450 in IIM Rohtak exam and what went wrong was the paper came way too easy due to which cutoff went 409 compared to 330 last year. I could have got any south campus college and even some of the north but I chose KMV because it was on second position for BMS. Cutoff for BMS in KMV was around 515/650 after giving cuet....Read More
