at the last, I want to say it is the very good college in the Kolkata area after some Government colleges with the good campus, excellent and experienced faculties and place to show anyone's talent in technical or non-technical areas.as job tells most about a college, I say IBM, TCS, BOSCH, DELLOITE these companies are top recruiters in our colleges. in history student also get a job from Microsoft from our college. good or bad, it's you to judge. I conclude here.

WBJEE-West Bengal joint entrance examination My rank was around 8000 why I opted for this college? the simple reason was I couldn't get any better college in this rank. the course electronics is the best department in the college, i knew this before admission because one of my friends got admission there and I knew about this stream and faculty quality from him, he is my senior now, but in the same department in my college

MAKAUT(Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology) which is our university,i.e-state university conducts 2 semesters each year, where 1st-year syllabus was mostly from 12th standard, and from 2nd-year core subjects will be taught in the respective departments.the syllabus was in my view good and easy to follow during the study months, exam question patterns are rather old and outdated, not consistent with the competitive exams pattern, so we had to take other steps for competitive exams. I would rate our course curriculum of University 6 out of 10

As I am a 3rd-year student in my college, I now know that 4th-year student in a start has their jobs, most of our department's students get a job, so they attend as a trainee or intern in the company, the stipend is around Rs.10000 to Rs.12000.

Most of Electronic and Communication students got placed this year in renowned companies like TCS(Tata Consultancy Services), IBM, Bosch (Core company), Delloite etc. they are getting a future salary of about 4-6 lakhs per annum, the students those who didn't get jobs in their first interviews,college prepares them for different rounds of interviews so they can apply for other off college interviews and cracks it.

In my view, in this days as engineering fees are getting higher and higher, in last few years IIT increased their overall course fees.in this contrast I find our course fees completely feasible. it is overall Rs. 3.76 to Rs 4.3 lakhs-which is very much less compared to other colleges apart from IIT's in our countries.

Our college has PNB(Punjab National Bank) branch inside our campus which offers a loading facility during admission process ate very low interest. As I haven't taken the loan facility I don't know about it much.but some of my mates are taking the loan facility and I never heard from them about any difficulties about this term.

campus life is the best part of my life. I have never been more felt so refreshed in my life when I entering my college.our college has 3 playing ground which I find unique in Kolkata because most of the private colleges doesn't have fields at all,few of them have 1 small field,only very few private engineering colleges have this.as far as our education life is to talk about,our college is not all robot type students who only are bookworms, as we have best tech fest in kolkata and state after IIT KGP, each year we find ourselves engaging never-ending creativity and learning process.all the year has been fun for me because we had many workshops of departmental subjects,sometimes non-departmental subjects.we learn throughout the year in Techno India Salt Lake

I have never been to any mess and hostel so, I don't know about it very much but I am writing this after talking to some of my friends who are from Kolkata and currently staying here in PG or MESS.one thing to highlight our college does not provide hostel facility, so people from other areas have to rely on PGs and MESS.my friends told me MESS or PGs are quite affordable in this area of Kolkata around our college, transport system is very good,you can get all types of transport you can think of in India, so far the food is concerned it is manageable and the rooms are good, so groups of student scan easily manage their living there.

the first day I attended college i was scared of ragging in college as I have seen the Movie, 3 Idiots but there are only intro sessions in our college. No ragging i have seen in my 3 years time. we have an anti-ragging committee which is formed my 4th-year students mostly, who really welcomes and helps the juniors as i have experienced when i was a fresher. they help a lot I must tell you. seniors and other alumni and teachers also make the college very student friendly.

frankly speaking, if I have to rate our lab in terms of facility and timing I would rate it 5 out of 10. I gave this rating, not because our faculties are bad,only and only because the over the hour writing of lab copies which includes bunch of theories and question, which we copy from manuals, which are of no use in my view.that's make the lab less interesting.but apart from that all labs were good and faculties provide us with good view of practical examples which is consistent with theory classes.

at first WBJEE board,i.e. state joint entrance board opened online counselling which held in three parts in which we had to fill our choices of colleges with our preferred stream, after some days they will upload the college seat available for us, if we are happy with the college and stream after 1st counselling result then we have to go to their desired center to get that sit in that particular college, where enrollment will be done. in my case I was not happy, so I also go to their center for graduation, I was also not happy with the 2nd counselling result, then I upgraded further following the same process, the last result of counselling which was 3rd counselling, I got this stream and this college-for which I was happy.so I enrolled.then particular college or institute, in my case TECHNO INDIA SALT LAKE gave us a particular time for orientation and admission.so I attended so, they gave us brochures, fees structure of the college, and we give them admission money to get admission.after that we went to their administrative office to get our identity card and a library card from a library, they gave us the date of first class and other formalities were done.that's how the admission was done.

here's the best part in my department I faced some very good faculties who were knowledgeable, Amazing Lecturers, the Best part of all about faculties of our department is they are very helpful I must say, they helped us from in all perspectives whether in the study or another thing.
