Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty member is helpful with any difficulty they are there too solve never faced such issue, Student : teacher ratio is 10:1 it's okay not a big deal they help everyone though college campus is also okay

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available fees payment facility is easily online available and other co-curriculum facilities also their fees is quite a disappointment coz they charge different for me per semester 20k and from one of my friend 15k

Campus Life

Tech fest College Fest and other social activity club activiTy available on campus is also okay we can play there classroom corridors have cctv for the security library also there so there is no complaint but the amenities of the classroom is e expecting better

Admission

I took the JELET exam though they contacted me and the entrance was quite easy to go I didn't opt for reservation benefit college campus is good teachers are helpful and eligible for courses but the location situated a little bit far

Honest opinion about my college(AOT)

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

After 6th semester students are eligible for placement this year 31 student's got an offer letter in which 3 are from mechanical and rest of the from electrical engineering but the placement packages for food technology is good as they will get offer from keventer. Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else

Don't be a minimum guy, Choose GKCEM

It’s Greater Kolkata College of engg and mgmt. under JIS group is one of the best colleges around for students. Though my department of Mechanical Engineering is favorite for its labs, facilities, faculties and it is as good in other sections also. Certainly, our college provides adequate infrastructure and quality teaching of the faculty members here. This college is affiliated to MAKAUT University and many top companies visit the campus during placements. The senior are quite helpful to the juniors.Its an anti ragging campus. Infrastructure is quite good but not the best out there.Faculty percentage is little less at least what i felt throught my academic session but atleast better than other colleges.Labs are all in working condition with lab technicians.College offers some workshops and webinars very pften to allow students to indulge to get insight into industry relevant ideas....Read More
