Remarks

This college is affiliated to MAKAUT University and many top companies visit the campus during placements. The senior are quite helpful to the juniors. Its an anti ragging campus. Infrastructure is quite good but not the best out there.Faculty percentage is little less at least what i felt throught my academic session but atleast better than other colleges.Labs are all in working condition with lab technicians.College offers some workshops and webinars very pften to allow students to indulge to get insight into industry relevant ideas.

Course Curriculum Overview

Most of our faculty members are well qualified and delivers immense knowledge through their teaching. But the percentage of faculties need to be taken care of like specialiization in particular aspects are less There are some less experienced faculties as well. More educated and in-field knowledge faculties should be employed so that students get field knowledge also which is most important in this stream. The college organizes Workshops and Seminars for students quite often.Regardind the course curriculum i personally feel the syllabus should be modified cause its outdated and more practical papers should be bought not only in this stream but also in other stream by the college authority.

Placement Experience

3.5

75 percent to 80 percent of students are placed every year in our course. The recruiting companies are, L & T,Tata,Gammon India,Simplex pvt ltd, etc. The quality of placements in college is pretty standard not good i must say. Various companies pays visit every year but only handful students of the college get pkaced in top companies others averageb or below and very rare companies are satisfied with kind of freshers Yes, the college is very supportive for the placement but they need to find out a way to uplift their overall placement.

College Events

3.5

The campus life can be defined as pretty moderate.College do organizes a technical fest and a cultural fest but neither it catches eye nor draws interest.Other colleges can participate in the evenys during fest but there are a handful of college which shows interest. Many students of college itself does'nt take part in that sense.

Campus Life

This college is affiliated to MAKAUT University. Its an anti ragging campus. Infrastructure is quite good but not the best out there. Various sports club are present in the campus to allow co curricular activities side by side with learning. A part of the campus is wifi enabled. The library is quite large and packed with books but sitting arrangements are less.Labs are all in working condition with lab technicians and sufficient equipment are present. We have two separate AC seminar hall and a auditorium.College also houses a canteen which offers healthy hygenic food and a ATM as well

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

The placements in our college is decent. The average salary package a student used to get from our college was around 4lakhs to 5 lakhs per annum. Mainly they used to bring non IT companies to the IT students. It was rare that IT companies used to comer in bulk.
