I choose Electronics and Communication Engineering as I have an interest in that particular subject. The teachers at that college are highly qualified. They have good knowledge. Most of them already completed their Ph.D. The teachers give their best to the student.

Our college Greater Kolkata College of Engineering and Management offers internship opportunities form the third year. Many companies come our college for internship opportunities like amazon, IBM, Flipkart.

The placement of our college is really good. From our college many of our final year students got placement. Last year the highest package was around 10 LPA and the average package was 4.5 LPA. Almost 80 percent of students got placement last year from the college campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of this college is not too high. But you can get Swami Vivekananda Merit Cums Means scholarships if you get 75 percent in every year. It can help you to pay your semester fees. Many of our seniors already got job offers.

College life is really good. Every year college conducts college fest ( annual fest as well as tech fest ). There are about a lot of collection of books in college library. There are many social group, clubs in our college.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Don't be a minimum guy, Choose GKCEM

It’s Greater Kolkata College of engg and mgmt. under JIS group is one of the best colleges around for students. Though my department of Mechanical Engineering is favorite for its labs, facilities, faculties and it is as good in other sections also. Certainly, our college provides adequate infrastructure and quality teaching of the faculty members here. This college is affiliated to MAKAUT University and many top companies visit the campus during placements. The senior are quite helpful to the juniors.Its an anti ragging campus.
