Likes

The crowd is good but at first it will take time to find right friends
The Campus will give you a Movies like wibe as the college might not be huge but it very elegant
The teaching faculty is 98% good and understanding

Dislikes

The crowd is mixed and you won't be easily be able to help in
Sometimes you feel like you can't connect with some teachers
The assignments are alot and have to be submitted on time

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good for anyone who is trying to Business management the name doesn't honestly describe the course well it's similar to a BBA one does from IP University the same syllabus we study faculty is good and most teachers are good at bonding with students

Well depends some people seek employment out side of college on their own and some take up the college placement cell opportunity where as others pursue their masters it's different from person to person.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship opportunity is available to those who are applicable to avail of it the fees are very minimal compared to private colleges the fees are like 10,000Rs a year, and the job on campus is available easily through the placement cell.

Campus Life

There are many college society one can join and the environment is well dependent on your level of involvement with the society members but yes the college offers a good experience in terms of the crowd one has to always look for their own people at first.

Admission

The application form is available on the Delhi University website during my time of admission after 12 standards the percentage of 12 was applicable for admission so I scored 89.75% so as I was not a commerce student so I faced a deduction and got admission by clearing the cut off of 85% required by the college for the General Category. The reservation benefits are available.

JESUS & MARY COLLEGE - AN UNDERRATED GEM

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th or 5th semester. Deloitte , Bain & company, PWC ,EY, Grant Thornton (for consulting services) offer the highest package to roles like analyst and accountant. Other companies such as ICICI Bank, Kotak securities , Inshorts , Urban company,HUL, Wipro,ITC hotels , Appollo Hospital etc. the highest package recorded in 2024 was 23.05 LPA and average package as 6 LPA . 85-90% of the eligible students get the placement, the data might vary as some students opt for 4th year for their research work. My plans after getting the degree lie in marketing or consulting field.

Placement Experience:

From the second year people are eligible for internships and placements. Our course and college offers very well placements as compared to other colleges in terms of the industry exposure. My plan is to do the 4- year course and then do a job for 1-2 years then start my own business while pursuing masters degree

I to be honest don't like my course much but it's not too bad also , it does allow you to have a practical exposure along side your studies. As the pressure of syllabus is not much. Teaching methods are not too good also but not bad too. The difficulty level is not much.

Placements are offered in my college from top companies such as accenture, godrej, etc. Placements range from 6-9 lpa on average. Highest package is around 12 lacs but i am not sure. My plans after this degree are doing masters from a good university or working for 2 years.

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
