Likes

You get alots of respect being in medical college and if it is MAMC.. Ahh people look you with hopes
Since college is very old it have great alumni network both in India and aboard
The fee of MBBS college in country runs into crores where as we have fee of 2k per annum

Dislikes

Student union of our college is very corrupt and biased to some state students
There is no extracurricular activities and fest also is not so good
Sports facilities are veey poor. College does not give funds for sports

I wanted to pursue medicine so I choose MBBS. Faculties vary from department to department still there are around 10 professors and around 5,7 SR in each dept. Faculties are highly qualified all are highly experienced. Term exams are held every 4 months they are difficult to pass.

Class Size: 249Course Fees: INR 238 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Since MAMC is a government college the fees are very minimal and affordable just about. 2300-2500 per year. Our college also provides many scholarships to students who are not financially abled. We have paid internships at end of the course stipend offered is about 25k pm.

Campus Life

We have an annual fest K/A synapses which are held in the month of Sept every year. Books in the Library are mostly related to Medicine and few novels by medical authors. The classroom has all amenities including smart boards, an air conditioner new modern lights. Tbh sports facilities in college do not par and there are very less extracurricular activities. There is student union AMA

Admission

You need to pass 12th boards with a minimum of 50% in PCB. The application form is released online and costs around 1800. There is a reservation for the All India quota and state quota plus the EWS OBC SC ST reservation. I want the admission process to be more digitalized.

My Honest review of VMMC Delhi

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Academics is great and the labs are well maintained. All the pgs, Srs and professors are helpful. Projectors are there for teaching purposes. Exams held on weekly/monthly basis for better understanding of subjects and preparation of final examination.

Experience of our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum are good but need some improvement.there is 3 subject in 1st year and 3 subject in 2nd year and only 2 subject in 3rd year and 11 subject in last 4th year so last year very tough.we need some more subject in 3rd year even 1st and 2nd year so we got some less headache in final year.

A good quality and thorough training

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

A nice yet small college in delhi

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate
