Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is moderate. If you are willing to become a stenographer in the future or want a govt. job in any field, one can opt for this course as there is not much pressure on the studies. The teachers are great, and always ready to help. Exams are quite easy to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered for various posts such as content writer, business development intern, graphic designer, operations intern, etc. Stipend lies between 5-15k. Groups are made by the placement cell where all the updates related to jobs and internships are posted.
Placement Experience
You are eligible from the second year to apply for placements. Companies like EXL, KPMG, DE SHAW, TravClan, etc. visited our campus. Recently D.E. Shaw offered 21 LPA for the post of Operations Manager Analyst. 90% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite feasible. The first year's fee is Rs. 10.150 and the second year's was Rs.8,750. Indeed, scholarships are available but only if you are a meritorious student. To talk about placements, most of the companies hire business development associates, sales and marketing jobs, graphic designing, etc., and talk about internships, and internships are available in every field.
Campus Life
CVS's annual fest is TATVA which is conducted every year but sometimes it may get postponed or cancel- depending on the availability of funds. To talk about social life, there are societies - cultural which includes fashion, drama, dance, and theatre society and Departmental includes commerce society, economics society, vocational society, management society also NSS, ENACTUS. Every type of Book is available in the library. Classrooms are not much well-maintained.
Admission
Everything is online. You have to register yourself on the admission portal of Delhi University. No special subjects or fields are required for this course. Anyone from any stream can pursue this course. Since now the admissions are based on CUET, I got admission based on the cut-off. Reservation is obviously there.
