Course Curriculum Overview

3

I was really into medicine so I choose this profession, there is a batch of around 240 students in Lady Hardinge and lectures are taken up professors and SRs however small group discussions are done for the same topic d One in the class by dividing the batch into a group of 40 students and each teacher is alloted for the batch ,teaching really depends upon the faculty

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee at Lh is a bare minimum of 1300 per annum ,financial assistance is given to students belonging to ews category under a scholarship programme ,we can give various medical licensing examination once mbbs is completed like usmle( for practicing medicine in america ),plab( for practicing medicine in European countries and NEET PG ( for practicing medicine in India )

Campus Life

4.5

Campus is really amazing ,we have new academic infrastructure now ,New Lts n all .Moreover new opportunities building which was under construction for a long time is now functional .Hostel rooms are also pretty nice and social life is absolutely amazing as Lh is at prime location in delhi

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel rooms are pretty nice ,the room is furnished ,we are provided with a single cupboard , a bed and a study table which is pretty much all we require ,mess food is also good to go ,menu for each day is fixed and it is made sure that we have a wide variety of food over the week

Admission

I gave NEET UG entrance examination and found application form on NTA website ,application fee was around 1000 , ews category has Slightly less though ,the forms are open for span of around 10-15 days and are out 4-6 months before the exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum has been revised in 2019 and the new curriculum (CBME: Competency-Based Medical Education) is all about patient-based approach and clinical approach which is very amazing since that's how we'll be dealing with patients in real life. The faculty of Lady Hardinge is amazing as long as you're willing to learn. The practical sessions especially are the best since you get to see everything you've learnt in theory. The syllabus is very vast and it's very difficult but you can do fairly well if you go through it consistently. The term exams are held before each semester and after every year you need to give professional exams also known as 'proffs'. You'll have to pass the proffs in order to be promoted to next year which is very easy if you have a grip on the basics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college has 4 to 5 permanent faculties and 2 faculty from the base hospital Delhi Cantt. in each department. That is 1 teacher for approx 15 students. The teachers are all super specialised in their respective fields and mostly all are very efficient in teaching while following the latest MCI guidelines. there are a total of 4 exams a student has to give mid-term, end terms, pre-proof and proofs. The exams are all designed to ensure that the passing students are eligible to be called doctors but not so tough as to fail a lot of students. An average result has about 15 fails in 100 students

Remarks:

I did my MBBS from NDMC Medical College which was worth it. The college has great education system with a good faculty and nice campus with a green cover. The college has a hostel but it is not as good so I would recommend staying outside campus. The training programmes and practicals bring in depth to studying at this college.

Remarks:

There is no negative news about this college, everything is best here. Few points on aiims -*College management is also perfect. *Faculty members never tried to shun their responsibilities with respect to teaching, research and patient care. Senior students were required to teach their juniors on a regular basis, even in OT's (operation theatre). *Get together were organised during celebrations of important festivals which included admitted patients. All religions were given importance.
