DRUG ABUSE ; STUDENTS ALL AROUND THE CAMPUS ARE SMOKING AND THAT DOESNOT PROVIDE A GOOD ATMOSPHERE TO STUDY.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose bcom because of my keen interest in commerce also it allows me to follow my ultimate passion for theatre as the course curriculum is limited. All the teachers are professional in their respective subjects with a fair reel of experience. Every 6 months, there are semester exams and it is not that difficult to pass these exams.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 84000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a above average rise in the fee structure each of the 3 years cost around 27000 rupeees which is not affordable by many students from lower income groups. So in order to make education accessible to all theree are adequate provisions for scholarships and education loans.Also students can work part time with their studies.

The annual fest of Shri guru tegh bahadur khalsa college is lashkara which is held during the month of march where all college societies have their events and there is a grand performance by renowned artists and more than 10000 students join the fest and it's happening to be there. The university has vast libraries all around the campus where books and journals of different genres are there which is open to all university students. Each college has its own student-run societies.

Admission

The admission process at Delhi university is divided into two categories Entrance is based on DUJAT for some professional courses like BBA and BBE. Merit-based admission is also there, online registration, filling up of application form, announcement of cut-off list, document verification, approval of admission by authorities. admission process may vary from year to year.

I have chosen B.Com with Economics as my course.Because I have done 11-12 from commerce site and I am interested in commerce subjects like accounts, economics.The problems that occur in this subject It takes some time to understand this.You have to study in the right way and take classes.Most importantly, if you want to score good marks in the exam, then you should not skip any exam, be it theory or internal assessment.In this field you can make your future in the lines of accounting economist, otherwise this course is the best according to me and I like it.And if you go ahead and do higher studies in this also Like you can do higher studies in accounting line Due to which your knowledge will increase further.

The course curriculum is thorough and pertinent, in my opinion. I chose this course because it helps me understand real-world business situations by covering both the theoretical and practical aspects of commerce, such as accounting, economics, and business law. The subjects are helpful for both real-world employment and future studies like an MBA or CA. Although the course prepares us well, it could be enhanced by including more hands-on learning opportunities, internships, and professional guest lectures. To make lessons more interesting, teachers can employ more interactive techniques like group discussions and digital resources. Exams are scheduled appropriately, but occasionally the timetable feels constrained and leaves little time for review. The exam is at a moderate level and assesses more than just memorisation; it tests our comprehension of subjects.

A students insight on his college

Placement Experience:

Eligibility is 5th semester onwards you can get campus placement. Deloitte, TATA, nestle, other big MNC's Highest is around 20 lacs and average is around 5 lacs. 60-70 % students get places but it can be higher or lesser depending upon the crowd of students , their talents. I think I would choose a professional course like civil servant.
