Course Curriculum Overview

Earlier I completed my diploma course in civil engineering and I am very much passionate about civil engineering. Faculty-student ratio is 1:10. Faculty members are well qualified and have good quality teaching ability. The exams are not easy in this college.

Internships Opportunities

The internship facility is there in our college. The core competencies give the supervisor and surveyor jobs, and some designing companies give software designing jobs. Very few projects are there and the outcomes help students for the industrial job.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students can participate in the placement process. JMC, PINNACLE, and TCS are the highlighted companies that visited our college for the campus drive. The average package is 300000per year. Almost 60 to 75% of students got placement from our college. After completing of this degree, I want to join a civil engineering core company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester fees of this college are approximately 45000, accommodation fees are separate. I got an SVMCM scholarship, college helped me to get the scholarship, and they gave us some amount of discount. Campus drives are there.

Campus Life

Between February to March, the cultural and technical fest is held in our college. Books are available in sufficient quantity, reading room facility is also there. Classrooms are large and clean, digital classrooms are also there. Annually sports events are there. Sports and the social curricular club are present.

Admission

I got admission to this college through the counselling process of the JELET entrance exam. I visited the college and then known to all the system then I gave the fees, with the admission letter. The admission process should more student-friendly.

Reality of IIT KGP

Placement Experience:

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

SURTECH REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.
