I chose B.Com hons. as I had a major interest in this field and wanted to pursue a job. The Faculty: Student ratio is 1:40. Teachers are very learned and provide valuable information every time. Terms were easy to pass and exams were very timely.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements in their final year. Many companies visited including Delloite, pwc, Bajaj Capital, hcl, etc. 160 offers till now. The highest package is INR 36.5 LPA. Average package 5.5 LPA. Profiles offered more than 40. The percentage of students getting placed is 30%.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. The fees do not include the hike facility. The cost to study is very minimal i.e. INR 13,000 a year which is quite affordable. The books are available in the library so there is no need to purchase books as well. No scholarship is offered.

Campus Life

The annual fest is named Aarohan which is a huge fest. Renowned DJs come to play music and the organizing team is very efficient and hardworking. As mentioned, books are available and everything can be found in the library. The classrooms are spacious. No ac though. All kinds of sports are available on campus. Placement cell, commerce society, dramatics theatre, etc..

Admission

For this course, you need to have at least 90% and maths in your 12th. Application forms can be found on the DU official website in the admissions area. Many reservations are available on DU websites like SC, ST, OBC, etc.

Things you should know about Mata sundri college, DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

My liking for accepting influenced my decision to choose b.com hons . The curriculum prepares well for real world applications however I think that work on field give more knowledge. Teachers should teach with real life case studies and examples rather than with the bookish theories. The exam are not that though if you had go through the whole syllabus for once (nicely) you can pass the exam with good marks .

I have chosen B.Com with Economics as my course.Because I have done 11-12 from commerce site and I am interested in commerce subjects like accounts, economics.The problems that occur in this subject It takes some time to understand this.You have to study in the right way and take classes.Most importantly, if you want to score good marks in the exam, then you should not skip any exam, be it theory or internal assessment.In this field you can make your future in the lines of accounting economist, otherwise this course is the best according to me and I like it.And if you go ahead and do higher studies in this also Like you can do higher studies in accounting line Due to which your knowledge will increase further.

Truly great experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching method of the teachers are the best and their no need to change but some teachers take less time and finishes important topic so they can teach more. The time table of our college is very manageable and the timings of the paper are good and the teacher takes class test on weekly basis so it help us to learn topic easy.

Choose bcom program and it a good choice for me. Commerce department is very helpful and supportive. Teacher are very helpful and kind to every student. Time table needs to change because class starts from 8:40am and ends 5:00pm . This needs big change

The life you should live in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is thorough and pertinent, in my opinion. I chose this course because it helps me understand real-world business situations by covering both the theoretical and practical aspects of commerce, such as accounting, economics, and business law. The subjects are helpful for both real-world employment and future studies like an MBA or CA. Although the course prepares us well, it could be enhanced by including more hands-on learning opportunities, internships, and professional guest lectures. To make lessons more interesting, teachers can employ more interactive techniques like group discussions and digital resources. Exams are scheduled appropriately, but occasionally the timetable feels constrained and leaves little time for review. The exam is at a moderate level and assesses more than just memorisation; it tests our comprehension of subjects.
