Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Inspired by my innate passion for finance and marketing, I had a well-planned decision in my mind to pursue B.Com Hons as a gateway to my targets. And to the most extent, it feels fruitful so far. As per the official records, the academic excellence at SRCC is unparalleled to any other college of DU. The faculty-student ratio is meritoriously 1:21 with a separate body for administration and teaching staff.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are certainly fixed and follow the standard university instructions. Being one of the legacy colleges, it has a plethora of scholarship programs from the need-based to the grant based for any academic or extra curricular perusal.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is always enthralling. The college has over 50-60 engaging independent student-run clubs and societies based on varying interests. The annual fest of college is called "Crossroads" which is the largest in the entire host of DU colleges and comes at second place in the entire Delhi after IITD "Rendezvous". The college has state of an art multipurpose sports complex and the majority of the sports are trained there from Hockey, TT, soccer, Basketball, Kho-kho, etc.

Admission

Eligibility of the course: Best 4 combinations with one language as mandatory and 3 course-specific subjects combination. The details for the whole admission book guide are provided on the college's official website on the very first homepage.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.
