Course Curriculum Overview
We have around 5-6 subjects per semester and different teachers for all subjects. All the teachers are very cooperative and give us the best guidance. We have two exams per semester. First, the mid-term generally takes place after one month of the start of the semester and then at least we have our end-semester exam.

Different companies visited Thapar to give internships like Apple, Samsung, Optum, and Cisco. They mostly provide us with tech-based roles for computer students and non-tech-based roles also. The average stipend given is 20,000.

Thapar provides great placement opportunities for its students. Students here become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester onwards. There were many companies that visited our campus including Microsoft, Samsung, Apple, JP Morgan, Optum, and many others. The number of offers made until now is approx 1497 and still counting. The highest package is approx 40 lacs and the lowest is approx 5 lacs. Approx 80% of students are already placed.

Fees at Thapar increase with each semester. The scholarship opportunity is provided to us on the basis of our cgpa. We have a finance department to take care of all the finance-related problems and a placement cells for all the job and company-related queries. The average package at thapar is approx 8 lacs.
Campus Life
Thapar has 250 acres campus having almost everything available. There are different societies available for us to take part in on the basis of our interests. A beautiful library has a large collection of books and a market area, a large ground, and a swimming pool.
Admission
In order to enroll one should pass the 12th examination with atleast 70% marks (for general) and 65% (for SC/ST). Other than this he/she must have appeared for JEE Mains. Admission for COE seat was done on the basis of the merit of aggregate of three subjects- physics, maths and the third can be chemistry or any other technical subject which we have taken as our optional subject during our academics. If more than one candidate has the same percentage then the tie is broken by taking their JEE Mains percentile into consideration. All the details about their fee structure are present on their website.
