Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because I want to do Engineering in my Life. There are various faculties at JMI. Overall the faculty is very good. All faculty have excellent teachers. they are helpful, and highly qualified and they all have quality knowledge. Faculty teachers are well qualified, they're PhD holders, researchers and many more

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 16350 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of JMI is very low, which is very suitable for me. For the engineering course, 16350 INR is the fee for One year. There are many types of scholarships available here like Junaid Foundation, Reliance Foundation, ONGC etc.

Campus Life

The name of the fest of JMI is basically Cultural Fest. It is conducted in the month of March every year. Because JMI is University so there are different faculties, and each faculty have its own library here thousands of books are available.

Admission

Candidates have to fill out the application form online on Jamia Millia Islamia Website. For the B.Tech course there is no entrance exam and for the rest courses entrance is taken by the administration. Eligibility for the B.Tech course is candidates who have filled out the JEE MAINS form and qualified for the JEE MAINS entrance test are able to fill out the application form of JMI. The admission form is available on the official website of JMI. The application form will be available in March. Here there are many types of reservations like Muslim, OBC, ST, SC etc.

DTU FROM A FRESHER'S PERSPECTIVE

DTU is a Nice Place

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is its strong point. A lot of the students get placed at least somewhere in CSE especially. Google is the company a lot of the people get placed in. Highest package is around 2 Cr per annum and Average is around 12-20 Lacs per annum. Percentage of students that get placements is about 90%. There are a lot of internships options here and I know some students that have joined internships from the first year. My plans after getting a degree is to find a nice and comfortable job where I can balance my work and life and work hard there for good money.

DTU: A Perfect Blend of Learning and Campus life.

Placement Experience:

At DTU, students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester.TOP companies like Google , Microsoft, Amazon , Atlassian and Deloitte visit the campus. The highest packages touch above 1cr+, with an average around 15-20lpa for CSE. Most Students (90%+ in top branches) get placed. After my degree, I plan to pursue a tech role in software development.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements begin in final or fourth year. So from 7th semester students become eligible for on campus placement.From 5th semester or 3rd year students are eligible for on campus internships with very good package. In Nsut all top companies like Google, microsoft ,adobe, amazon, flipkart and many more visit.Around 300 companies visit each year. Highest package in 2024 is 83lpa in cse branch and 18 lpa average.In cse placement percentage is 70%, and in ee it is lower around 40%.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

Placement Experience:

After internship season gets over, placement season starts with starting from 7th semester. At the start a lot of good product based companies visit and gradually the package offered start decreasing. The placement season lasts for full one year and around 90-95% students get placed. I started my master's in Chandigarh University before joining Jamia. We have to clear an entrance for JMI. In comparison, it is much better than Chandigarh University. The fee for Jamia is around 16000 for the course , whereas it's around 1.5 lakh there. Then comes the professors. They are much experienced and better in Jamia.
