Totally worthy experience

Faculties are well-versed in their field but the course curriculum definitely needs improvement. As the semester passes there are more subjects with little to no relation to the course and don't provide any actual knowledge. There is a need for more industry-knowledge subjects.

There are many companies coming for internships. I am currently interning at BYJU through college placements. I am having a great learning experience so far and as we become familiar with the project we are working on we are provided tasks to complete beginning with byte-sized tasks. It is a great career start.

Students get eligible from the 5th semester for internship opportunities. Placements begin in the 7th semester. A lot of companies: 300+ visit campus for placements and offer diverse roles. The highest package for my placement went to 45 LPA and the average package for the previous year was 10.97 LPA. This year also placements are great. Above 90% of students get placed.

There are so many scholarships available and their info is on the college website. But the tuition fees are expensive and there is about a 10% hike in it every academic year. Ph.D. students can work as Teaching assistant to earn through college.

Campus life is great. The infrastructure is good too. There are over 40 clubs and societies which provide a place to learn and improve your hidden talents. There are many fests happening all throughout the year but the biggest one for me is the techno-cultural fest "Saturnalia". Sports facilities, grounds, and equipment are great too. The library is exceptional and is one of the tops in India and Asia. Lecture halls are large and well-equipped with modern technology for teaching.

Hostels are great. There are many room type options available like 2 seater, 3S,Ac, Non-Ac etc. Shared and attached washrooms are available. Hostel Mess is great as compared to many colleges. Food variety and quality is great.

Applying through the college website with a fee of 1500 INR. There were many rounds of counseling but I got Computer engineering in online counseling on basis of my JEE Score and I also had an inside punjab quota. After that, we had to visit the campus for document verification.
