- I love all my professors and my course. They are very approachable and kind.
- College lawns. They are a blessing in winters as they recieve ample amount of sunlight.
- The corridors of my college. Also the dogs too. There are many dogs roaming around and chilling outside and inside our classrooms.
Dislikes
- That we don't have a Nescafe inside our college and we don't get nice tea or coffee inside the college.
- They water the lawns too much and then there's water logging for the whole day
- The taste of the water filter. It tastes as if it has too much chlorine
Course Curriculum Overview
English Hons is fun if you invest yourself in the course. Ramjas English Department is the reason I choose this course in the first place. Here we have tutees in which the faculty ratio is 1:8. The faculty is really qualified and they teach by using very creative and engaging methods. Their lectures are well-researched and enhanced our level of understanding. The term exam was not very easy to pass. You need to really study hard for it.
Internships Opportunities
People have got internships as HR and Market interns with a stipend of 5000/month. Some also got internships as the social media manager of certain forms for a stipend of 3000/month. Some also got as a consultant at firms and organizations. People do work in NGOs too.
Placement Experience
I plan to do a master's and so do many other students from my batch. But placements are pretty decent in our college. The current third years are appearing for interviews and a few of them are placed in good companies too.
Fees and Financial Aid
I find the fees pretty decent in terms of the infrastructure and amenities they provide. The college also provides scholarships to the people who want to avail and really need them. There's a placement cell that brings in very comprehensive jobs and internships for the students. They also organize certain webinars and seminars to clarify our confusion.
Campus Life
We have a sports complex and two grounds. One for football and cricket and one for volleyball and other sports. There's a basketball court too. Inside the sports complex, we have a table tennis setup and a gym also. The people with sports quota practice there and have their club. We have a smart boards in few of the classrooms though the benches are pretty small and leg space is not very nice
Admission
My admission was on a merit basis but later they started an entrance exam for the same. I got into 3rd list in Ramjas with my percentage. Forms and registration links are easily available on Delhi University's website. They release all the information and news on the website itself. To avail of the reservation you need to have a caste certificate of a certain type which is mentioned in the pdf of the documents required. The process is pretty much fine.
