Remarks

college management is good though office ppl are too lazy to work,(govt. effect ofcourse) they'll surely make you realize that you're in a government college now.

Entrance Preview

i didn't gave any entrance examination, its a delhi university college so admissions were purely based on the merit of senior secondary examination at my time.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

if i need to define the course curriculum in brief then i must say you'll have to study really hard, as the subjects(most of them) would sound more than new to you , though this particular course will give you a wide exposure to new things and ideas.

Internships Opportunities

no it doesn't. the desirous students can apply for various internships outside the campus wherever they find it beneficial. i didn't apply for any internship so i can't actually brief the whole process, but many of my former classmates did there internships from some prestigious companies.

Placement Experience

2.5

there were very few companies at my time that visited our college, though du's got a cental placement cell which provides placements in various companies in various fields, like from a call centre job to an analyst in some well established organisation s.

College Events

4

one of the best thing about a du college is its happening events that took place atleast twice a year. we used to have fresher's, technical fests, some random events and then finally the most awaited event of the year that is our cultural fest which is totally a blast.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is so damn feasible that you would feel like you're studying for free!

Fees and Financial Aid

i dont know about the scholarships and loans offered by our college, for that one must consult a senior faculty or any other official staff.they can tell you more on this.

Campus Life

5

our college is a girls college so it wouldl be quite boring for girls who passed out from a co.ed school but later on when you'll get to meet ppl and you'll make friends then you'll find everything just fine, though there are some restrictions and all but keeping in mind all the facilities that they'll provide you, it'll be a balanced college life there for you.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

i used to travel daily by metro, the connectivity is quite good . i dont know much about hostel and pg's since i never had to stay in either of them, but one of my former classmate used to tell us about the hostel life which sounded good enough, the food was fine , room was spacious enough and the campus had so much of greenery for a refreshing experience there

Alumni/Alumna

alumni network is quite strong now as the college has come up with some alumni meets which occur after every 2 years where those women would give you a widespread knowledge and would share there personal experiences as well inside various organisations.

Exam Structure

we used to have a 9-5 schedule including labs which was indeed very hectic, but as the time passed by, and as we were promoted to senior years it became less of a hassle. one gets used to it though in starting you'll definitely find it irritating. the exams on the other hand are majorly the end terms, there are no mid sem exams though you have to give some tests and assignments for 25 marks and the rest 75 are completely based on your performance in end terms.

Admission

to be very honest, i didn't got admission anywhere else in any course at delhi university. though my percentage was 80 in 12th class still it wasn't just enough, so when i heard about this course at this particular college of du, i rushed here and applied for the same and got the admission on the same day.

Faculty

3.5

one thing i must say about the faculty, that they're really dedicated and hardworking as compared to the faculties of other du colleges. they're all like PhD's and are really good in there respective fields, but it is also a fact that you'll find some of them really annoying as they lack teaching skills and couldn't relate it with the real world to give students a better learning experience, but all in all the faculty is above average i would say.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
