Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is diverse and provides 100-200 electives across multiple domains. We have a good faculty: student ratio of 1:5 with faculties possessing, the highest standards of education and industry experience. We have a trimester system with each term of approx. 3 months.
Internships Opportunities
Summer placements happen (100% batch gets placed) with the best of the industry names coming for recruiting such as McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Goldman Sachs, JPMC, BofA Merill Lynch, etc. across profiles such as PEVC, IB, Consult, Prodman, marketing, ops, etc.
Placement Experience
Best in India with a 34.3 LPA average package last year with a median around 34 LPA. The highest package was above 1Cr, and 100% of students get placed, across various cohorts such as Fin, consult, marketing, prodman, ops, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure includes everything except mess food, which is handled by the student council and you can pay for what you eat. The institute provides many scholarships and financial assistance from various sources.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is best including a student exchange program, CEMS MiM program (only one in India), multiple inter-college events, sports meets, intersections, etc. Classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and we have over 40 clubs and committees and you can join as many as you want.
Hostel Facilities
4 Hostels: Old Hostel, White Hostel, New Hostel, and Lake view hostel. WH has the bests food and overall the best experience, while LVH has the best infrastructure but is a bit far from Acad block compared to the other hostels. We get a fully furnished single room with all amenities.
Admission
Through the CAT percentile, application on CAT's official website generally rolls out in November. Reservations for PwD, SC/ST, OBC. No improvement is needed, the process can be a little fairer for a general male engineers.
Interview Experience
Only Personal interview was there, the panel included current and ex-faculties, alumni, etc. My preparation was mainly from a coaching center that I had joined specifically for PI and I believe giving a lot of mock interviews will help.
