Praxis Unfold

Everything you will learn is heavily number intensive. As praxis focus more on analytics, you will actually find why and how here. So even if you are not good with numbers, here you will learn how to deal with them.

Internships are good, this year praxis has achieved 100% campus internship. Highest 50k for 1 student (ITC), then 30k each to 8 students (ICICI). Remember, there are many companies who have offered less to none stipend for internship but all the part that matter, that is the name of the company. So always try to get a good company.

Placement is a race here. Handfull of good companies with good roles will come but they take good chunk of students. So be prepare for that and don't worry about getting good companies, here many companies offers better packages than those good companies.

The total fees that I have to pay is 11.3 Lacs. In which 30k is caution money. There is scholarship in Praxis but that is merit based and there is a special scholarship for women students. Rest everything you have to accumulate by yourself. Yes there will be books given by the institution and a bag.

Campus life is very good. 90 acr campus and you will have plenty place to roam around. There is no shortage of activity or sports here, the game room is always filled with students who wants to kill time here in campus, if you have. The rooms are quite big and airy. Also they are being monitor all the time so if you left something in class, the security will pick it up safely.

In Kolkata, if you want a good B-School where you will be getting a full package and you do not have enough marks for IIM or IIFT, this is the best option you have. All the reasons I have mentioned earlier that is enough for an average student to take out home something.

Faculty to student ratio is good, approximately 1:5. The quality of faculties are very good. The cource structure is designed in a way, where everything is linked to another thing. The teaching style and techniques are very good. Facilities like Manaswee sir, Sayantani Mam, CP sir, Kankana mam, you will fall in love with. Here we have terminal system. Total 5 terms and each term is devided in 2 parts, mid term and end term. And you will get scores upon your exam marks and class participation and presentations and attendance.

Yes, the GD process is very good. Mostly there will be topics like situation based. Imagine you are in the board of members in a waching machine company and your newly launched waching machine has pickup good sales. Now while checking first lot inspection, you notice some quality issues and the complaints started comming, what will you do? In PI you will be getting questions on your field only, maybe 2-3 General knowledge questions with that.

Night life at college is nice. As the college is far from main city, you will be having a quite night life. Where you can focus more on studies and projects. One would be happy to spent time here during the night period as the weather here is very pleasant.
