I choose CSE as I was always passionate about it. teachers here are highly qualified. teachers here are generally qualified as PhD teachers would give an idea about the concept and we have to explore them using the various study sources over here

Internships Opportunities

Cisco Google and many other MNC visit our college. Goldman Sachs also visit the college there are various electives offered like machine learning. Internships in our college play a crucial role. Placements are offered very well

Placement Experience

Students should be eligible for internships after 4th semester and they would get placements after 6th semester. almost all MNCs visit our college. the save CGPA is 7. the highest package offered here goes up to 40-50 lakh

Fees and Financial Aid

generally, fees here for general students are 67500 per semester. sc/st/pwd/below 1 lakh would be getting exemption from it and have to pay 4500. many students apply for various kinds of scholarships like nsp,fee I didn't avail any scholarship as my family income was above

Campus Life

fests over here are very beautiful and posh we can enjoy to full of us. almost every book needed by students would be available in the library. classrooms are very huge and wide but they are old sports are also very much encouraged over here There are many clubs like AI AND RIG and also cultural clubs

Hostel Facilities

4 people have to stay in a single room. there are various kinds of mess for everyone the registration process is very simple and can be done through office members over here I think there are some other rooms are also over here but I am not sure about it

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

eligibility- jee mains entrance exam. application- through jee mains nta website(best mains percentile would be taken). reservation availed- obc-pwd. suggestions- it could have been better if we had the option to add choices even after the counseling process.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. Life at NITC by Vimosh Kumar

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college. Accordind to NIRF rankings this is the top 27 Engineering college in India and top 3rd NIT. Admission process is only through JEE Mains Exam. You need very good percentile to join this college. Nit Calicut very good placements too....Read More
