I chose Thapar University over other colleges due to its strong academic reputation and practical focused curriculum and industry oriented approach in computer engineering. It offers well balanced curriculum that includes foundational courses and emerging fields like AI and machine learning along with hands on projects this focus on practical learning stood out compared to other colleges. It provides strong internships and project opportunities . It had modern kabs and high tech classrooms and well equipped infrastructure with extra curriculur activities and fests every year. The eligibility is a minimum percenin 10+2 with physics chemistry and mathematics. I applied in Jaypee Noida and got admission in JIIT sector 128 in IT Branch . I have studied there for 15 days but after then I switched to Thapar because in JIIT 128 , you have to travel each and every day from sector 62 to sector 128 as they only have hostels in there sector 62 campus . Also the sector 128 campus is too small it feels like you are in school . There is a strict compulsion of uniform in JIIT which completely gives you school vibes and you don't feel as if you are in college . It is more of a school . The mess and canteen of JIIT 128 is not good. They only have samosa , pasta and one two more food item . I chose Thapar over JIIT because of all these chaotic and terrible experience...Read More

Postive only Many events are there like saturnilia and tff sataurnila is the main fest of the college with good fun and tff is thapar food fest goes for a week and many events happen and even last is food fest day wehre lots of bands come and provide the food to eat...Read More
