Remarks
The admission process was the same for all colleges at the University of Delhi. The criteria in 2020 were cutoff based on scores of class 12th, but now they have CUET. The entrance exam is a good move and details are changed every year as updated on the DU portal.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose B.Com as it gives technical skills in accounting that I could not seem to find in degrees like BBA. The faculty-student ratio is not great but it is good at 1:25. The faculty at PGDAV is amazing, especially in commerce and statistical courses.
Internships Opportunities
The college placement cell provides internship opportunities in various domains like sales or business development, marketing, content writing, designing, finance, etc. Companies include EY GDS, PWC, Deloitte, BDO Rise, Byju's, etc.
Placement Experience
PGDAV College has got a very active student-run placement cell that has been #1 in DU for 2 consecutive years as per a media group. Students are eligible to apply for campus placements from their 5th semester. The highest package has been about 30 LPA and means the package is about 5.86 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is not high at all in any of the colleges of the University of Delhi. Although financial assistance is available for students it is not generally required and various scholarship opportunities are also available from the university.
Campus Life
I would not call the campus buzzing with something all the time, but you'll almost always find a society or company stall/banner near the entrance. All societies have annual events like Aaghaz, Converge, etc. We have interest groups like Satark and Kaizen.
